प॒रा॒वतो॒ ये दिधि॑षन्त॒ आप्यं॒ मनु॑प्रीतासो॒ जनि॑मा वि॒वस्व॑तः । य॒याते॒र्ये न॑हु॒ष्य॑स्य ब॒र्हिषि॑ दे॒वा आस॑ते॒ ते अधि॑ ब्रुवन्तु नः
parāvato ye didhiṣanta āpyaṃ manuprītāso janimā vivasvataḥ yayāterye nahuṣyasya barhiṣi devā āsate te adhi bruvantu naḥ
From afar those who desire offerings, loving the gift of men, are born from Vivśvat; may the gods who sit with oblations speak over us and protect us.

viśvā hi vo namasyāni vandyā nāmāni devā uta yajñiyāni vaḥ ye stha jātā aditeradbhyaspari ye pṛthivyāste ma iha śrutā havam
All your names are to be reverenced, all your venerable rites and sacrifices, O gods; you who were born at the beginning of the sun, you who spread through the earth — these hymns have been heard by me.

येभ्यो॑ मा॒ता मधु॑म॒त्पिन्व॑ते॒ पयः॑ पी॒यूषं॒ द्यौरदि॑ति॒रद्रि॑बर्हाः । उ॒क्थशु॑ष्मान्वृषभ॒रान्स्वप्न॑स॒स्ताँ आ॑दि॒त्याँ अनु॑ मदा स्व॒स्तये॑
yebhyo mātā madhumatpinvate payaḥ pīyūṣaṃ dyauraditiradribarhāḥ ukthaśuṣmānvṛṣabharānsvapnasastām̐ ādityām̐ anu madā svastaye
From whom mothers drink the honeyed, delightful milk — the heavens, earth, Aditi, rivers and mountains, the singers chanting songs and the bulls of warmth in dreams — to the Adityas I offer joyful homage for welfare.

नृ॒चक्ष॑सो॒ अनि॑मिषन्तो अ॒र्हणा॑ बृ॒हद्दे॒वासो॑ अमृत॒त्वमा॑नशुः । ज्यो॒तीर॑था॒ अहि॑माया॒ अना॑गसो दि॒वो व॒र्ष्माणं॑ वसते स्व॒स्तये॑
nṛcakṣaso animiṣanto arhaṇā bṛhaddevāso amṛtatvamānaśuḥ jyotīrathā ahimāyā anāgaso divo varṣmāṇaṃ vasate svastaye
With human‑eyes unmoving, deserving, the great‑godly ones measured out undying strength; luminous paths, free from deceit, dwelling in the years of heaven — may they be beneficial.

स॒म्राजो॒ ये सु॒वृधो॑ य॒ज्ञमा॑य॒युरप॑रिह्वृता दधि॒रे दि॒वि क्षय॑म् । ताँ आ वि॑वास॒ नम॑सा सुवृ॒क्तिभि॑र्म॒हो आ॑दि॒त्याँ अदि॑तिं स्व॒स्तये॑
samrājo ye suvṛdho yajñamāyayuraparihvṛtā dadhire divi kṣayam tām̐ ā vivāsa namasā suvṛktibhirmaho ādityām̐ aditiṃ svastaye
Kings, powerful and grand, who by sacrifice uphold life and ward off decay in the sky — to those Adityas, praised with noble deeds, we offer salutations for welfare.

को वः॒ स्तोमं॑ राधति॒ यं जुजो॑षथ॒ विश्वे॑ देवासो मनुषो॒ यति॒ ष्ठन॑ । को वो॑ऽध्व॒रं तु॑विजाता॒ अरं॑ कर॒द्यो नः॒ पर्ष॒दत्यंहः॑ स्व॒स्तये॑
ko vaḥ stomaṃ rādhati yaṃ jujoṣatha viśve devāso manuṣo yati ṣṭhana ko vo'dhvaraṃ tuvijātā araṃ karadyo naḥ parṣadatyaṃhaḥ svastaye
Who praises the hymn that all the gods and men have invoked? Who has fashioned for us the unobstructed path? May that powerful one awaken us to welfare.

येभ्यो॒ होत्रां॑ प्रथ॒मामा॑ये॒जे मनुः॒ समि॑द्धाग्नि॒र्मन॑सा स॒प्त होतृ॑भिः । त आ॑दित्या॒ अभ॑यं॒ शर्म॑ यच्छत सु॒गा नः॑ कर्त सु॒पथा॑ स्व॒स्तये॑
yebhyo hotrāṃ prathamāmāyeje manuḥ samiddhāgnirmanasā sapta hotṛbhiḥ ta ādityā abhayaṃ śarma yacchata sugā naḥ karta supathā svastaye
From those by whom the first oblations are offered, Manū with kindled Agni and seven priests with mind — may the Adityas grant us fearless shelter and bestow a good path on us.

य ईशि॑रे॒ भुव॑नस्य॒ प्रचे॑तसो॒ विश्व॑स्य स्था॒तुर्जग॑तश्च॒ मन्त॑वः । ते नः॑ कृ॒तादकृ॑ता॒देन॑स॒स्पर्य॒द्या दे॑वासः पिपृता स्व॒स्तये॑
ya īśire bhuvanasya pracetaso viśvasya sthāturjagataśca mantavaḥ te naḥ kṛtādakṛtādenasasparyadyā devāsaḥ pipṛtā svastaye
May those lords of the world, lords of thought, who establish and contemplate the universe, grant us deeds rightly done and generosity; may the gods bring us favour.

भरे॒ष्विन्द्रं॑ सु॒हवं॑ हवामहेंऽहो॒मुचं॑ सु॒कृतं॒ दैव्यं॒ जन॑म् । अ॒ग्निं मि॒त्रं वरु॑णं सा॒तये॒ भगं॒ द्यावा॑पृथि॒वी म॒रुतः॑ स्व॒स्तये॑
bhareṣvindraṃ suhavaṃ havāmaheṃ'homucaṃ sukṛtaṃ daivyaṃ janam agniṃ mitraṃ varuṇaṃ sātaye bhagaṃ dyāvāpṛthivī marutaḥ svastaye
We invoke Indra in offerings with fragrant worship, the excellent born of the gods; we call Agni, Mitra, Varuṇa — may the heavens, earth and Maruts grant us blessing.

सु॒त्रामा॑णं पृथि॒वीं द्याम॑ने॒हसं॑ सु॒शर्मा॑ण॒मदि॑तिं सु॒प्रणी॑तिम् । दैवीं॒ नावं॑ स्वरि॒त्रामना॑गस॒मस्र॑वन्ती॒मा रु॑हेमा स्व॒स्तये॑
sutrāmāṇaṃ pṛthivīṃ dyāmanehasaṃ suśarmāṇamaditiṃ supraṇītim daivīṃ nāvaṃ svaritrāmanāgasamasravantīmā ruhemā svastaye
The cord that binds earth and heaven, directing Aditi supremely, the divine bringers carried us with guardian power; may they arrive for our welfare.

विश्वे॑ यजत्रा॒ अधि॑ वोचतो॒तये॒ त्राय॑ध्वं नो दु॒रेवा॑या अभि॒ह्रुतः॑ । स॒त्यया॑ वो दे॒वहू॑त्या हुवेम शृण्व॒तो दे॑वा॒ अव॑से स्व॒स्तये॑
viśve yajatrā adhi vocatotaye trāyadhvaṃ no durevāyā abhihrutaḥ satyayā vo devahūtyā huvema śaṛṇvato devā avase svastaye
All sacrificers who called upon you spoke: “Guard us from the far destructive ones.” By truth we offer the godly rites; hear us, O gods, and grant settling welfare.

अपामी॑वा॒मप॒ विश्वा॒मना॑हुति॒मपारा॑तिं दुर्वि॒दत्रा॑मघाय॒तः । आ॒रे दे॑वा॒ द्वेषो॑ अ॒स्मद्यु॑योतनो॒रु णः॒ शर्म॑ यच्छता स्व॒स्तये॑
apāmīvāmapa viśvāmanāhutimapārātiṃ durvidatrāmaghāyataḥ āre devā dveṣo asmadyuyotanoru ṇaḥ śarma yacchatā svastaye
As waters run beyond, all mind offerings spread afar, harmed by the hostile; O gods, remove enmity from our radiant fight and grant us protection and welfare.

अरि॑ष्टः॒ स मर्तो॒ विश्व॑ एधते॒ प्र प्र॒जाभि॑र्जायते॒ धर्म॑ण॒स्परि॑ । यमा॑दित्यासो॒ नय॑था सुनी॒तिभि॒रति॒ विश्वा॑नि दुरि॒ता स्व॒स्तये॑
ariṣṭaḥ sa marto viśva edhate pra prajābhirjāyate dharmaṇaspari yamādityāso nayathā sunītibhirati viśvāni duritā svastaye
The hostile one harms mortals and the whole world; through offspring and law misdeeds arise. The Adityas lead aright with good counsel — may they avert all evils for welfare.

यं दे॑वा॒सोऽव॑थ॒ वाज॑सातौ॒ यं शूर॑साता मरुतो हि॒ते धने॑ । प्रा॒त॒र्यावा॑णं॒ रथ॑मिन्द्र सान॒सिमरि॑ष्यन्त॒मा रु॑हेमा स्व॒स्तये॑
yaṃ devāso'vatha vājasātau yaṃ śūrasātā maruto hite dhane prātaryāvāṇaṃ rathamindra sānasimariṣyantamā ruhemā svastaye
Whom the gods invoked with might and whom the Maruts honored for wealth — Indra harnessed the chariot at dawn and drove forth; may those be present for our welfare.

स्व॒स्ति नः॑ प॒थ्या॑सु॒ धन्व॑सु स्व॒स्त्य१॒॑प्सु वृ॒जने॒ स्व॑र्वति । स्व॒स्ति नः॑ पुत्रकृ॒थेषु॒ योनि॑षु स्व॒स्ति रा॒ये म॑रुतो दधातन
svasti naḥ pathyāsu dhanvasu svastya1psu vṛjane svarvati svasti naḥ putrakṛtheṣu yoniṣu svasti rāye maruto dadhātana
May there be welfare on our paths, on our bow‑arm, in waters and in the people; may welfare be for our offspring and families, and may Maruts grant prosperity to the realm.

स्व॒स्तिरिद्धि प्रप॑थे॒ श्रेष्ठा॒ रेक्ण॑स्वत्य॒भि या वा॒ममेति॑ । सा नो॑ अ॒मा सो अर॑णे॒ नि पा॑तु स्वावे॒शा भ॑वतु दे॒वगो॑पा
svastiriddhi prapathe śreṣṭhā rekṇasvatyabhi yā vāmameti sā no amā so araṇe ni pātu svāveśā bhavatu devagopā
May prosperity and excellent attainment come to us, whether by the right or the left path. May she, our mother, protect our homesteads and let divine guardians be our shelter.

ए॒वा प्ल॒तेः सू॒नुर॑वीवृधद्वो॒ विश्व॑ आदित्या अदिते मनी॒षी । ई॒शा॒नासो॒ नरो॒ अम॑र्त्ये॒नास्ता॑वि॒ जनो॑ दि॒व्यो गये॑न
evā plateḥ sūnuravīvṛdhadvo viśva ādityā adite manīṣī īśānāso naro amartyenāstāvi jano divyo gayena
Thus the son of Platha, growing like a river, the thoughtful Aditya among the unbounded, the ruler for mortals — these divine ones have placed that heavenly glory upon men for lofty song.
