भरे॒ष्विन्द्रं॑ सु॒हवं॑ हवामहेंऽहो॒मुचं॑ सु॒कृतं॒ दैव्यं॒ जन॑म् । अ॒ग्निं मि॒त्रं वरु॑णं सा॒तये॒ भगं॒ द्यावा॑पृथि॒वी म॒रुतः॑ स्व॒स्तये॑
bhareṣvindraṃ suhavaṃ havāmaheṃ'homucaṃ sukṛtaṃ daivyaṃ janam agniṃ mitraṃ varuṇaṃ sātaye bhagaṃ dyāvāpṛthivī marutaḥ svastaye
We invoke Indra in offerings with fragrant worship, the excellent born of the gods; we call Agni, Mitra, Varuṇa — may the heavens, earth and Maruts grant us blessing.
We call in battles upon the well-invoked Indra, the liberator from sin, and upon the virtuous folk ofheaven, Agni, Mitra, Varuṇa, Bhaga, Heaven and Earth, the Maruts, for the acquisition (of food), for well-being.
In battles we invoke Indra still swift to hear, and all the holy Host of Heaven who banish grief, Agni, Mitra, and Varuna that we may gain, Dyays, Bhaga, Maruts, Prthivi for happiness:
