Kings, powerful and grand, who by sacrifice uphold life and ward off decay in the sky — to those Adityas, praised with noble deeds, we offer salutations for welfare.
The gods, who, kings over all, and most exalted, have come to the sacrifice, who, unassailable, abidein heaven; them, the mighty Ādityas, (the sage) worships with reverence, and with praises, and also Aditi for hiswell- being.
Great Kings who bless us, who have come to sacrifice, who, ne'er assailed, have set their mansion in the sky,- These I invite with adoration and with hymns, mighty Adityas, Aditi, for happiness.
