The chariot whose threefold-bonded axle shone with gold, O Ashvins, adorned the sky and earth all around; thus the heard report reached us.

yadadhrigāvo adhrigū idā cidahno aśvinā havāmahe vayaṃ gīrbhirvipanyavaḥ
What the bright cows bore, what the cows bore in the past, this day we offer in the Ashvin’s oblation; we are singers, the heralds of beneficial fame.

By those that came, O mighty Ashvins, accept our oblation, universal in its pours and carried all around; this heifer was foremost among men, they widened the ploughed furrow reached by them.

tāviddoṣā tā uṣasi śubhaspatī tā yāmanrudravartanī mā no martāya ripave vājinīvasū paro rudrāvati khyatam
These are the blemishes, these are the dawns, O auspicious-spouse, these are the paths that drive Rudra away; may not my thought go to the foe — O vehicles of strength, renowned Rudra roars beyond.

manojavasā vṛṣaṇā madacyutā makṣuṃgamābhirūtibhiḥ ārāttāccidbhūtamasme avase pūrvībhiḥ purubhojasā
With quick mind, Ashvins, you, madly eager, with gleaming eyes and tremulous limbs, restored what was torn from me; dwell with me like the ancient feasters, ye who share the meal of men.

suprāvargaṃ suvīryaṃ suṣṭhu vāryamanādhṛṣṭaṃ rakṣasvinā asminnā vāmāyāne vājinīvasū viśvā vāmāni dhīmahi
