पू॒र्वा॒युषं॑ सु॒हवं॑ पुरु॒स्पृहं॑ भु॒ज्युं वाजे॑षु॒ पूर्व्य॑म् । स॒च॒नाव॑न्तं सुम॒तिभिः॑ सोभरे॒ विद्वे॑षसमने॒हस॑म्
pūrvāyuṣaṃ suhavaṃ puruspṛhaṃ bhujyuṃ vājeṣu pūrvyam sacanāvantaṃ sumatibhiḥ sobhare vidveṣasamanehasam
May the Ashvins, well-paired from ancient life, desiring the foremost, be borne in offerings of wealth of yore; endowed with true counsels, radiant with wise thoughts, they dispel enmity.
Celebrate, Sobhari, with praises (that chariot), the benefactor of former (encomiasts), the worthilyinvoked, the desired of many, the preserver, the foremost in battles, the relied upon by all, the scatterer ofenemies, the exempt from ill.
Car ever young, much longed-for, easily invoked, soon guided, first in deeds of might, Which waits and serves, O Sobhari, with benevolence, without a rival or a foe.
