ā nūnamaśvinā yuvaṃ vatsasya gantamavase prāsmai yacchatamavṛkaṃ pṛthu cchardiryuyutaṃ yā arātayaḥ
O Ashvins, come now early to the calf of the herd; bring to him the hundredfold milk, the abundant flow you have procured.

यद॒न्तरि॑क्षे॒ यद्दि॒वि यत्पञ्च॒ मानु॑षा॒ँ अनु॑ । नृ॒म्णं तद्ध॑त्तमश्विना
yadantarikṣe yaddivi yatpañca mānuṣām̐ anu nṛmṇaṃ taddhattamaśvinā
Whatever is in the sky, whatever in the daytime, whatever of the five men follow — Ashvins, grant that to mortals; bestow on mankind that measure.

You, Ashvins, who have skilfully smoothed out our hostile snares, be aware — thus the Kanva bids you know.

अ॒यं वां॑ घ॒र्मो अ॑श्विना॒ स्तोमे॑न॒ परि॑ षिच्यते । अ॒यं सोमो॒ मधु॑मान्वाजिनीवसू॒ येन॑ वृ॒त्रं चिके॑तथः
ayaṃ vāṃ gharmo aśvinā stomena pari ṣicyate ayaṃ somo madhumānvājinīvasū yena vṛtraṃ ciketathaḥ
This warmth of yours is anointed by the Ashvins with the hymn; this Soma, full of sweetness, is like a possessive garment by which they struck down Vṛtra.

Whatever in waters, whatever in woody plants, whatever in herbs made by many-handed ones — by that the Ashvins have clothed us.

यन्ना॑सत्या भुर॒ण्यथो॒ यद्वा॑ देव भिष॒ज्यथः॑ । अ॒यं वां॑ व॒त्सो म॒तिभि॒र्न वि॑न्धते ह॒विष्म॑न्तं॒ हि गच्छ॑थः
yannāsatyā bhuraṇyatho yadvā deva bhiṣajyathaḥ ayaṃ vāṃ vatso matibhirna vindhate haviṣmantaṃ hi gacchathaḥ
Whether by the bountiful one or by the god who heals — this calf of yours, with wise thoughts, does not find the offering; indeed it goes to those who come with homage.

ā nūnamaśvinorṛṣiḥ stomaṃ ciketa vāmayā ā somaṃ madhumattamaṃ gharmaṃ siñcādatharvaṇi
O Ashvins, let the seer sing this hymn for you. Pour Soma, the sweetest, and sprinkle warmth like a libation, O priests.

ā nūnaṃ raghuvartaniṃ rathaṃ tiṣṭhātho aśvinā ā vāṃ stomā ime mama nabho na cucyavīrata
O Ashvins, now set the swift-turning chariot in motion. These hymns of ours ascend to my sky and do not diminish.

yadadya vāṃ nāsatyokthairācucyuvīmahi yadvā vāṇībhiraśvinevetkāṇvasya bodhatam
What you, O Ashvins, have not spoken by falsehoods we have proclaimed; by the words of speech, Ashvins, this Kanva bids you be aware.

yadvāṃ kakṣīvām̐ uta yadvyaśva ṛṣiryadvāṃ dīrghatamā juhāva pṛthī yadvāṃ vainyaḥ sādaneṣvevedato aśvinā cetayethām
Whether birds, whether horses, O sage, whether long offerings you poured — O Ashvins, this earth, whatever is your troop in the households, rouse them here.

yātaṃ chardiṣpā uta naḥ paraspā bhūtaṃ jagatpā uta nastanūpā vartistokāya tanayāya yātam
Whether this flow went forth for us or shared among us, whether it became manifest to the world or to our bodies — the course goes to the son's rejoicing.

यदिन्द्रे॑ण स॒रथं॑ या॒थो अ॑श्विना॒ यद्वा॑ वा॒युना॒ भव॑थः॒ समो॑कसा । यदा॑दि॒त्येभि॑रृ॒भुभिः॑ स॒जोष॑सा॒ यद्वा॒ विष्णो॑र्वि॒क्रम॑णेषु॒ तिष्ठ॑थः
yadindreṇa sarathaṃ yātho aśvinā yadvā vāyunā bhavathaḥ samokasā yadādityebhirṛbhubhiḥ sajoṣasā yadvā viṣṇorvikramaṇeṣu tiṣṭhathaḥ
When you were like Indra as charioteer, or when you became with the swift wind equal, when with the shining Suns you rejoiced, or when Vishnu in his courses stood among strides.

यद॒द्याश्विना॑व॒हं हु॒वेय॒ वाज॑सातये । यत्पृ॒त्सु तु॒र्वणे॒ सह॒स्तच्छ्रेष्ठ॑म॒श्विनो॒रवः॑
yadadyāśvināvahaṃ huveya vājasātaye yatpṛtsu turvaṇe sahastacchreṣṭhamaśvinoravaḥ
Today I invoke the Ashvins who bring wealth to the offering. When on the shores, in the open plain, your foremost are the best of the Ashvins.

आ नू॒नं या॑तमश्विने॒मा ह॒व्यानि॑ वां हि॒ता । इ॒मे सोमा॑सो॒ अधि॑ तु॒र्वशे॒ यदा॑वि॒मे कण्वे॑षु वा॒मथ॑
ā nūnaṃ yātamaśvinemā havyāni vāṃ hitā ime somāso adhi turvaśe yadāvime kaṇveṣu vāmatha
O Ashvins, now these offerings of yours are indeed beneficial to you. These Soma streams are over the threefold; when they are among the Kanvas, be present.

यन्ना॑सत्या परा॒के अ॑र्वा॒के अस्ति॑ भेष॒जम् । तेन॑ नू॒नं वि॑म॒दाय॑ प्रचेतसा छ॒र्दिर्व॒त्साय॑ यच्छतम्
yannāsatyā parāke arvāke asti bheṣajam tena nūnaṃ vimadāya pracetasā chardirvatsāya yacchatam
When there is not the healing in the pores, in the limbs there is remedy. Therefore certainly with clear mind the Ashvins give the flow to the calf, the hundredfold.

अभु॑त्स्यु॒ प्र दे॒व्या सा॒कं वा॒चाहम॒श्विनोः॑ । व्या॑वर्दे॒व्या म॒तिं वि रा॒तिं मर्त्ये॑भ्यः
abhutsyu pra devyā sākaṃ vācāhamaśvinoḥ vyāvardevyā matiṃ vi rātiṃ martyebhyaḥ
May she, the goddess, be kind; I speak this speech together with the Ashvins. May the goddess bestow thought and wide protection on mortals.

प्र बो॑धयोषो अ॒श्विना॒ प्र दे॑वि सूनृते महि । प्र य॑ज्ञहोतरानु॒षक्प्र मदा॑य॒ श्रवो॑ बृ॒हत्
pra bodhayoṣo aśvinā pra devi sūnṛte mahi pra yajñahotarānuṣakpra madāya śravo bṛhat
Bring forth, O Ashvins, the wealth of dawn; bring the goddess forth, a mighty well-formed one. Bring the priests of sacrifice, the singers of glory, great fame.

यदु॑षो॒ यासि॑ भा॒नुना॒ सं सूर्ये॑ण रोचसे । आ हा॒यम॒श्विनो॒ रथो॑ व॒र्तिर्या॑ति नृ॒पाय्य॑म्
yaduṣo yāsi bhānunā saṃ sūryeṇa rocase ā hāyamaśvino ratho vartiryāti nṛpāyyam
When you came forth with the radiant Sun as your light, O Ashvins, the chariot moved onward bringing prosperity to the king.

यदापी॑तासो अं॒शवो॒ गावो॒ न दु॒ह्र ऊध॑भिः । यद्वा॒ वाणी॒रनू॑षत॒ प्र दे॑व॒यन्तो॑ अ॒श्विना॑
yadāpītāso aṃśavo gāvo na duhra ūdhabhiḥ yadvā vāṇīranūṣata pra devayanto aśvinā
When the milk-giving kine were not milked by calves, when the speech-bearing ones chanted toward the gods — Ashvins, know this Kanva.

प्र द्यु॒म्नाय॒ प्र शव॑से॒ प्र नृ॒षाह्या॑य॒ शर्म॑णे । प्र दक्षा॑य प्रचेतसा
pra dyumnāya pra śavase pra nṛṣāhyāya śarmaṇe pra dakṣāya pracetasā
To Dyu (the sky), to the shining, to the manly cry, to auspicious protection; to skillful thought I bring praise.

yannūnaṃ dhībhiraśvinā pituryonā niṣīdathaḥ yadvā sumnebhirukthyā
What the two Ashvins, elder and younger, the fathers, sat down (to bestow), what (they gave) with sweet hymns—
