प्रय॑ज्यवो म॒रुतो॒ भ्राज॑दृष्टयो बृ॒हद्वयो॑ दधिरे रु॒क्मव॑क्षसः । ईय॑न्ते॒ अश्वैः॑ सु॒यमे॑भिरा॒शुभिः॒ शुभं॑ या॒तामनु॒ रथा॑ अवृत्सत
prayajyavo maruto bhrājadṛṣṭayo bṛhadvayo dadhire rukmavakṣasaḥ īyante aśvaiḥ suyamebhirāśubhiḥ śubhaṃ yātāmanu rathā avṛtsata
Having offered, O Maruts, you shone with seen splendour; broad-armed, with radiant breasts. Horses come, auspicious steeds, bearing your good fortune; may good go with the chariot that rolled onward.

स्व॒यं द॑धिध्वे॒ तवि॑षीं॒ यथा॑ वि॒द बृ॒हन्म॑हान्त उर्वि॒या वि रा॑जथ । उ॒तान्तरि॑क्षं ममिरे॒ व्योज॑सा॒ शुभं॑ या॒तामनु॒ रथा॑ अवृत्सत
svayaṃ dadhidhve taviṣīṃ yathā vida bṛhanmahānta urviyā vi rājatha utāntarikṣaṃ mamire vyojasā śubhaṃ yātāmanu rathā avṛtsata
Sprinkle forth your sacred draughts, as mighty and great ones pour forth; spread wide my firm protection like the broad flood; may good go with the chariot that rolled onward.

सा॒कं जा॒ताः सु॒भ्वः॑ सा॒कमु॑क्षि॒ताः श्रि॒ये चि॒दा प्र॑त॒रं वा॑वृधु॒र्नरः॑ । वि॒रो॒किणः॒ सूर्य॑स्येव र॒श्मयः॒ शुभं॑ या॒तामनु॒ रथा॑ अवृत्सत
sākaṃ jātāḥ subhvaḥ sākamukṣitāḥ śriye cidā prataraṃ vāvṛdhurnaraḥ virokiṇaḥ sūryasyeva raśmayaḥ śubhaṃ yātāmanu rathā avṛtsata
Born together, glorious, bound together, men renewed their splendour at dawn; like the rays of the sun they dispersed the hostile ones. May good go with the chariot that rolled onward.

आ॒भू॒षेण्यं॑ वो मरुतो महित्व॒नं दि॑दृ॒क्षेण्यं॒ सूर्य॑स्येव॒ चक्ष॑णम् । उ॒तो अ॒स्माँ अ॑मृत॒त्वे द॑धातन॒ शुभं॑ या॒तामनु॒ रथा॑ अवृत्सत
ābhūṣeṇyaṃ vo maruto mahitvanaṃ didṛkṣeṇyaṃ sūryasyeva cakṣaṇam uto asmām̐ amṛtatve dadhātana śubhaṃ yātāmanu rathā avṛtsata
O Maruts, I see your great might as ornament, like the eye of the sun. Uphold us to immortality; may good go with the chariot that rolled onward.

उदी॑रयथा मरुतः समुद्र॒तो यू॒यं वृ॒ष्टिं व॑र्षयथा पुरीषिणः । न वो॑ दस्रा॒ उप॑ दस्यन्ति धे॒नवः॒ शुभं॑ या॒तामनु॒ रथा॑ अवृत्सत
udīrayathā marutaḥ samudrato yūyaṃ vṛṣṭiṃ varṣayathā purīṣiṇaḥ na vo dasrā upa dasyanti dhenavaḥ śubhaṃ yātāmanu rathā avṛtsata
Send forth, Maruts, rain from the sea; shower down like fertile droppings. Let not your herds be seized by foes in the pastures; may good go with the chariot that rolled onward.

यदश्वा॑न्धू॒र्षु पृष॑ती॒रयु॑ग्ध्वं हिर॒ण्यया॒न्प्रत्यत्का॒ँ अमु॑ग्ध्वम् । विश्वा॒ इत्स्पृधो॑ मरुतो॒ व्य॑स्यथ॒ शुभं॑ या॒तामनु॒ रथा॑ अवृत्सत
yadaśvāndhūrṣu pṛṣatīrayugdhvaṃ hiraṇyayānpratyatkām̐ amugdhvam viśvā itspṛdho maruto vyasyatha śubhaṃ yātāmanu rathā avṛtsata
When horses were yoked blind in the plains, gold-laden they turned back unyoked; the Marut's rivals competed everywhere—may good go with the chariot that rolled onward.

न पर्व॑ता॒ न न॒द्यो॑ वरन्त वो॒ यत्राचि॑ध्वं मरुतो॒ गच्छ॒थेदु॒ तत् । उ॒त द्यावा॑पृथि॒वी या॑थना॒ परि॒ शुभं॑ या॒तामनु॒ रथा॑ अवृत्सत
na parvatā na nadyo varanta vo yatrācidhvaṃ maruto gacchathedu tat uta dyāvāpṛthivī yāthanā pari śubhaṃ yātāmanu rathā avṛtsata
Neither mountains nor rivers hinder you where the Maruts with mighty might approach. As heaven and earth surround, so may good go with the chariot that rolled onward.

यत्पू॒र्व्यं म॑रुतो॒ यच्च॒ नूत॑नं॒ यदु॒द्यते॑ वसवो॒ यच्च॑ श॒स्यते॑ । विश्व॑स्य॒ तस्य॑ भवथा॒ नवे॑दसः॒ शुभं॑ या॒तामनु॒ रथा॑ अवृत्सत
yatpūrvyaṃ maruto yacca nūtanaṃ yadudyate vasavo yacca śasyate viśvasya tasya bhavathā navedasaḥ śubhaṃ yātāmanu rathā avṛtsata
What was of old, O Maruts, and what is new, what rises and what grows—of the world's realm be thou the origin; may good go with the chariot that rolled onward.

मृ॒ळत॑ नो मरुतो॒ मा व॑धिष्टना॒स्मभ्यं॒ शर्म॑ बहु॒लं वि य॑न्तन । अधि॑ स्तो॒त्रस्य॑ स॒ख्यस्य॑ गातन॒ शुभं॑ या॒तामनु॒ रथा॑ अवृत्सत
mṛḷata no maruto mā vadhiṣṭanāsmabhyaṃ śarma bahulaṃ vi yantana adhi stotrasya sakhyasya gātana śubhaṃ yātāmanu rathā avṛtsata
Be mild to us, Marut; do not be hostile to us; grant us much protection and glory. Let the friendship-song of praise reach its height—may good go with the chariot that rolled onward.

यू॒यम॒स्मान्न॑यत॒ वस्यो॒ अच्छा॒ निरं॑ह॒तिभ्यो॑ मरुतो गृणा॒नाः । जु॒षध्वं॑ नो ह॒व्यदा॑तिं यजत्रा व॒यं स्या॑म॒ पत॑यो रयी॒णाम्
yūyamasmānnayata vasyo acchā niraṃhatibhyo maruto gṛṇānāḥ juṣadhvaṃ no havyadātiṃ yajatrā vayaṃ syāma patayo rayīṇām
You have led us, made us inmates of wealth, O Maruts; speak, Maruts, the heard words. Regard our oblation, ye priests; may we be lords of the cattle and of wealth.
