आ॒भू॒षेण्यं॑ वो मरुतो महित्व॒नं दि॑दृ॒क्षेण्यं॒ सूर्य॑स्येव॒ चक्ष॑णम् । उ॒तो अ॒स्माँ अ॑मृत॒त्वे द॑धातन॒ शुभं॑ या॒तामनु॒ रथा॑ अवृत्सत
ābhūṣeṇyaṃ vo maruto mahitvanaṃ didṛkṣeṇyaṃ sūryasyeva cakṣaṇam uto asmām̐ amṛtatve dadhātana śubhaṃ yātāmanu rathā avṛtsata
O Maruts, I see your great might as ornament, like the eye of the sun. Uphold us to immortality; may good go with the chariot that rolled onward.
Your might, Maruts, is to be glorified; it is to be contemplated like the orb of the sun; sustain us ever in immortality; may the cars of the quick-moving (Maruts) arrive for our good.
Maruts, your mightiness deserves to be adored, sight to be longed for like the shining of the Sun. So lead us with your aid to immortality. Their cars moved onward as they went to victory.
