तिष्ठा॒ हरी॒ रथ॒ आ यु॒ज्यमा॑ना या॒हि वा॒युर्न नि॒युतो॑ नो॒ अच्छ॑ । पिबा॒स्यन्धो॑ अ॒भिसृ॑ष्टो अ॒स्मे इन्द्र॒ स्वाहा॑ ररि॒मा ते॒ मदा॑य
tiṣṭhā harī ratha ā yujyamānā yāhi vāyurna niyuto no accha pibāsyandho abhisṛṣṭo asme indra svāhā rarimā te madāya
Stand, O swift chariot, harnessed and yoked; may the air not drive us off. Drink, O Indra, what has been poured for us—svaha—may it strengthen you; enjoy its might.

उपा॑जि॒रा पु॑रुहू॒ताय॒ सप्ती॒ हरी॒ रथ॑स्य धू॒र्ष्वा यु॑नज्मि । द्र॒वद्यथा॒ सम्भृ॑तं वि॒श्वत॑श्चि॒दुपे॒मं य॒ज्ञमा व॑हात॒ इन्द्र॑म्
upājirā puruhūtāya saptī harī rathasya dhūrṣvā yunajmi dravadyathā sambhṛtaṃ viśvataścidupemaṃ yajñamā vahāta indram
The seven swift mares, harnessed for the chariot, run; as libations poured from all sides the sacrificial draught should bear Indra forward like a universal flood.

उपो॑ नयस्व॒ वृष॑णा तपु॒ष्पोतेम॑व॒ त्वं वृ॑षभ स्वधावः । ग्रसे॑ता॒मश्वा॒ वि मु॑चे॒ह शोणा॑ दि॒वेदि॑वे स॒दृशी॑रद्धि धा॒नाः
upo nayasva vṛṣaṇā tapuṣpotemava tvaṃ vṛṣabha svadhāvaḥ grasetāmaśvā vi muceha śoṇā divedive sadṛśīraddhi dhānāḥ
Lead forth the bulls to the place of tapas; you, O bull, run with the sacred libation. Let these horses be seized and released; as in days of old, may the kine graze by day and prosper in wealth.

ब्रह्म॑णा ते ब्रह्म॒युजा॑ युनज्मि॒ हरी॒ सखा॑या सध॒माद॑ आ॒शू । स्थि॒रं रथं॑ सु॒खमि॑न्द्राधि॒तिष्ठ॑न्प्रजा॒नन्वि॒द्वाँ उप॑ याहि॒ सोम॑म्
brahmaṇā te brahmayujā yunajmi harī sakhāyā sadhamāda āśū sthiraṃ rathaṃ sukhamindrādhitiṣṭhanprajānanvidvām̐ upa yāhi somam
With holy prayer I yoked you with the prayer of Brahman; companion of the chariot, swiftly come. Firm be the chariot, Indra seat upon it joyfully; bring forth offspring, O wise one, and announce the Soma.

मा ते॒ हरी॒ वृष॑णा वी॒तपृ॑ष्ठा॒ नि री॑रम॒न्यज॑मानासो अ॒न्ये । अ॒त्याया॑हि॒ शश्व॑तो व॒यं तेऽरं॑ सु॒तेभिः॑ कृणवाम॒ सोमैः॑
mā te harī vṛṣaṇā vītapṛṣṭhā ni rīramanyajamānāso anye atyāyāhi śaśvato vayaṃ te'raṃ sutebhiḥ kṛṇavāma somaiḥ
Do not, O bulls, abandon your broad seats for those who serve another master. Ever come to us; we shall make your offspring strong with Soma for their (the bulls') sakes.

तवा॒यं सोम॒स्त्वमेह्य॒र्वाङ्छ॑श्वत्त॒मं सु॒मना॑ अ॒स्य पा॑हि । अ॒स्मिन्य॒ज्ञे ब॒र्हिष्या नि॒षद्या॑ दधि॒ष्वेमं ज॒ठर॒ इन्दु॑मिन्द्र
tavāyaṃ somastvamehyarvāṅchaśvattamaṃ sumanā asya pāhi asminyajñe barhiṣyā niṣadyā dadhiṣvemaṃ jaṭhara indumindra
O Soma, you desire what is best; protect this highest steed with noble mind. In this sacrifice, with sacred chants and offerings, place the milk and the waxing moon for Indra.

स्ती॒र्णं ते॑ ब॒र्हिः सु॒त इ॑न्द्र॒ सोमः॑ कृ॒ता धा॒ना अत्त॑वे ते॒ हरि॑भ्याम् । तदो॑कसे पुरु॒शाका॑य॒ वृष्णे॑ म॒रुत्व॑ते॒ तुभ्यं॑ रा॒ता ह॒वींषि॑
stīrṇaṃ te barhiḥ suta indra somaḥ kṛtā dhānā attave te haribhyām tadokase puruśākāya vṛṣṇe marutvate tubhyaṃ rātā havīṃṣi
The pressed Soma in the vat was made, Indra and Soma prepared the wealth for your heroes. Then, O strong one, for the warrior who bears the offering, the ritual libation was brought forth; for you they seized the manly share and the chant was offered.

इ॒मं नरः॒ पर्व॑ता॒स्तुभ्य॒मापः॒ समि॑न्द्र॒ गोभि॒र्मधु॑मन्तमक्रन् । तस्या॒गत्या॑ सु॒मना॑ ऋष्व पाहि प्रजा॒नन्वि॒द्वान्प॒थ्या॒३॒॑ अनु॒ स्वाः
imaṃ naraḥ parvatāstubhyamāpaḥ samindra gobhirmadhumantamakran tasyāgatyā sumanā ṛṣva pāhi prajānanvidvānpathyā3 anu svāḥ
This man, like mountains, brought thee waters, the cows, the mighty cows full of honey. With noble mind protect the progeny; O wise one, lead forth the people along the right path.

याँ आभ॑जो म॒रुत॑ इन्द्र॒ सोमे॒ ये त्वामव॑र्ध॒न्नभ॑वन्ग॒णस्ते॑ । तेभि॑रे॒तं स॒जोषा॑ वावशा॒नो॒३॒॑ऽग्नेः पि॑ब जि॒ह्वया॒ सोम॑मिन्द्र
yām̐ ābhajo maruta indra some ye tvāmavardhannabhavangaṇaste tebhiretaṃ sajoṣā vāvaśāno3'gneḥ piba jihvayā somamindra
Those whom Marut and Indra increased, who raised thee, their hosts were made numerous. With them the cordial feast was prepared; O Agni, drink this Soma with the tongue, O Indra.

इन्द्र॒ पिब॑ स्व॒धया॑ चित्सु॒तस्या॒ग्नेर्वा॑ पाहि जि॒ह्वया॑ यजत्र । अ॒ध्व॒र्योर्वा॒ प्रय॑तं शक्र॒ हस्ता॒द्धोतु॑र्वा य॒ज्ञं ह॒विषो॑ जुषस्व
indra piba svadhayā citsutasyāgnervā pāhi jihvayā yajatra adhvaryorvā prayataṃ śakra hastāddhoturvā yajñaṃ haviṣo juṣasva
Indra drank the libation with Svadhā and Agni guarded it; with the tongue the priest poured; let Shakra, with raised hand, hasten the oblation so that the sacrifice may be pleasing and the offering enjoyed.

शु॒नं हु॑वेम म॒घवा॑न॒मिन्द्र॑म॒स्मिन्भरे॒ नृत॑मं॒ वाज॑सातौ । शृ॒ण्वन्त॑मु॒ग्रमू॒तये॑ स॒मत्सु॒ घ्नन्तं॑ वृ॒त्राणि॑ सं॒जितं॒ धना॑नाम्
śunaṃ huvema maghavānamindramasminbhare nṛtamaṃ vājasātau śaṛṇvantamugramūtaye samatsu ghnantaṃ vṛtrāṇi saṃjitaṃ dhanānām
(Same as 3-34-11) We invoke the heroic Indra with praise in the twofold hymn, filling him with wealth and the dance of victory. Hear the mighty calls that smote Vritra and granted the spoil of treasures.
