Stand, O swift chariot, harnessed and yoked; may the air not drive us off. Drink, O Indra, what has been poured for us—svaha—may it strengthen you; enjoy its might.
Stay, Indra, having yoked the horses to the car, as Vāyu stops when he has put to his steds, and come to our presence; solicited by us to drink of the Soma, which with reverence we offer for your exhilaration.
MOUNT the Bay Horses to thy chariot harnessed, and come to us like Vayu with his coursers. Thou, hastening to us, shalt drink the Soma. Hail, Indra. We have poured it for thy rapture.
