tavāyaṃ somastvamehyarvāṅchaśvattamaṃ sumanā asya pāhi asminyajñe barhiṣyā niṣadyā dadhiṣvemaṃ jaṭhara indumindra
O Soma, you desire what is best; protect this highest steed with noble mind. In this sacrifice, with sacred chants and offerings, place the milk and the waxing moon for Indra.
This soma libation is for you; come down, and well disposed, drink of it unceasingly; seated on the grass at this sacrifice, take Indra, this (libation) into your belly.
Thine is this Sorna: hasten to approach it. Drink thou thereof, benevolent, and cease not. Sit on the sacred grass at this our worship, and take these drops into thy belly, Indra.
