उपा॑जि॒रा पु॑रुहू॒ताय॒ सप्ती॒ हरी॒ रथ॑स्य धू॒र्ष्वा यु॑नज्मि । द्र॒वद्यथा॒ सम्भृ॑तं वि॒श्वत॑श्चि॒दुपे॒मं य॒ज्ञमा व॑हात॒ इन्द्र॑म्
upājirā puruhūtāya saptī harī rathasya dhūrṣvā yunajmi dravadyathā sambhṛtaṃ viśvataścidupemaṃ yajñamā vahāta indram
The seven swift mares, harnessed for the chariot, run; as libations poured from all sides the sacrificial draught should bear Indra forward like a universal flood.
I harness for you, who is invoked by many, the swift gliding horses to the shafts of the car, that they may bear Indra to this sacrifice that is prepared with all (that is required).
For him, the God who is invoked by many, the two swift Bay Steeds to the pole I harness, That they in fleet course may bring Indra hither, e'en to this sacrifice arranged completely.
