त्वष्टा॑ दुहि॒त्रे व॑ह॒तुं कृ॑णो॒तीती॒दं विश्वं॒ भुव॑नं॒ समे॑ति । य॒मस्य॑ मा॒ता प॑र्यु॒ह्यमा॑ना म॒हो जा॒या विव॑स्वतो ननाश
tvaṣṭā duhitre vahatuṃ kṛṇotītīdaṃ viśvaṃ bhuvanaṃ sameti yamasya mātā paryuhyamānā maho jāyā vivasvato nanāśa
Tvaṣṭṛ makes the milch-cow give milk; thus the whole world is universally fitted. The mother who bore him, measuring out mighty birth, was not diminished by the radiant one.

अपा॑गूहन्न॒मृतां॒ मर्त्ये॑भ्यः कृ॒त्वी सव॑र्णामददु॒र्विव॑स्वते । उ॒ताश्विना॑वभर॒द्यत्तदासी॒दज॑हादु॒ द्वा मि॑थु॒ना स॑र॒ण्यूः
apāgūhannamṛtāṃ martyebhyaḥ kṛtvī savarṇāmadadurvivasvate utāśvināvabharadyattadāsīdajahādu dvā mithunā saraṇyūḥ
They uncover the immortals for mortals; making companions alike, they gave the pair to the radiant one. The Aśvins bore them away; thus they were placed as two yoked chariots.

पू॒षा त्वे॒तश्च्या॑वयतु॒ प्र वि॒द्वानन॑ष्टपशु॒र्भुव॑नस्य गो॒पाः । स त्वै॒तेभ्यः॒ परि॑ ददत्पि॒तृभ्यो॒ऽग्निर्दे॒वेभ्यः॑ सुविद॒त्रिये॑भ्यः
pūṣā tvetaścyāvayatu pra vidvānanaṣṭapaśurbhuvanasya gopāḥ sa tvaitebhyaḥ pari dadatpitṛbhyo'gnirdevebhyaḥ suvidatriyebhyaḥ
Pūṣā, and you who know the paths, drive forth the cattle and flocks of the world; Agni gave these to those, to the fathers, to the gods, to the sages of spacious knowledge.

आयु॑र्वि॒श्वायुः॒ परि॑ पासति त्वा पू॒षा त्वा॑ पातु॒ प्रप॑थे पु॒रस्ता॑त् । यत्रास॑ते सु॒कृतो॒ यत्र॒ ते य॒युस्तत्र॑ त्वा दे॒वः स॑वि॒ता द॑धातु
āyurviśvāyuḥ pari pāsati tvā pūṣā tvā pātu prapathe purastāt yatrāsate sukṛto yatra te yayustatra tvā devaḥ savitā dadhātu
May life that encompasses all preserve you, Pūṣā; may he protect you who walks before. Where good deeds are, where your people go, there let the god Savitṛ place you.

पू॒षेमा आशा॒ अनु॑ वेद॒ सर्वाः॒ सो अ॒स्माँ अभ॑यतमेन नेषत् । स्व॒स्ति॒दा आघृ॑णिः॒ सर्व॑वी॒रोऽप्र॑युच्छन्पु॒र ए॑तु प्रजा॒नन्
pūṣemā āśā anu veda sarvāḥ so asmām̐ abhayatamena neṣat svastidā āghṛṇiḥ sarvavīro'prayucchanpura etu prajānan
May our hope in Pūṣā know all things; may he drive away danger from us. Receive the prosperous blessing, O fire; may all heroes grant the people to come forth.

प्रप॑थे प॒थाम॑जनिष्ट पू॒षा प्रप॑थे दि॒वः प्रप॑थे पृथि॒व्याः । उ॒भे अ॒भि प्रि॒यत॑मे स॒धस्थे॒ आ च॒ परा॑ च चरति प्रजा॒नन्
prapathe pathāmajaniṣṭa pūṣā prapathe divaḥ prapathe pṛthivyāḥ ubhe abhi priyatame sadhasthe ā ca parā ca carati prajānan
Pūṣā goes on the forward path, Pūṣā goes on the path of the heavens, Pūṣā goes on the path of earth; moving both near and far he traverses the peoples.

सर॑स्वतीं देव॒यन्तो॑ हवन्ते॒ सर॑स्वतीमध्व॒रे ता॒यमा॑ने । सर॑स्वतीं सु॒कृतो॑ अह्वयन्त॒ सर॑स्वती दा॒शुषे॒ वार्यं॑ दात्
sarasvatīṃ devayanto havante sarasvatīmadhvare tāyamāne sarasvatīṃ sukṛto ahvayanta sarasvatī dāśuṣe vāryaṃ dāt
They invoke Sarasvatī with hymns when they perform the offering; they draw Sarasvatī to the stream when the oblation is poured. They call Sarasvatī, the beneficent; may she give rain and plenty.

सर॑स्वति॒ या स॒रथं॑ य॒याथ॑ स्व॒धाभि॑र्देवि पि॒तृभि॒र्मद॑न्ती । आ॒सद्या॒स्मिन्ब॒र्हिषि॑ मादयस्वानमी॒वा इष॒ आ धे॑ह्य॒स्मे
sarasvati yā sarathaṃ yayātha svadhābhirdevi pitṛbhirmadantī āsadyāsminbarhiṣi mādayasvānamīvā iṣa ā dhehyasme
Sarasvatī who guides the chariot with her invocations, O goddess who delights the fathers — come, touch us on this sacrificial grass; grant to me this body, I desire it.

सर॑स्वतीं॒ यां पि॒तरो॒ हव॑न्ते दक्षि॒णा य॒ज्ञम॑भि॒नक्ष॑माणाः । स॒ह॒स्रा॒र्घमि॒ळो अत्र॑ भा॒गं रा॒यस्पोषं॒ यज॑मानेषु धेहि
sarasvatīṃ yāṃ pitaro havante dakṣiṇā yajñamabhinakṣamāṇāḥ sahasrārghamiḷo atra bhāgaṃ rāyaspoṣaṃ yajamāneṣu dhehi
Sarasvatī, whom the fathers invoke in the southern ritual, acceptable in the sacrifices — grant a thousandfold share here, bestow prosperity on those performing the rites.

आपो॑ अ॒स्मान्मा॒तरः॑ शुन्धयन्तु घृ॒तेन॑ नो घृत॒प्वः॑ पुनन्तु । विश्वं॒ हि रि॒प्रं प्र॒वह॑न्ति दे॒वीरुदिदा॑भ्यः॒ शुचि॒रा पू॒त ए॑मि
āpo asmānmātaraḥ śundhayantu ghṛtena no ghṛtapvaḥ punantu viśvaṃ hi ripraṃ pravahanti devīrudidābhyaḥ śucirā pūta emi
Waters, mothers, cleanse us; with ghee may our dung be purified. The goddesses pour forth the streams; they cleanse the universe — pure, purified I am.

द्र॒प्सश्च॑स्कन्द प्रथ॒माँ अनु॒ द्यूनि॒मं च॒ योनि॒मनु॒ यश्च॒ पूर्वः॑ । स॒मा॒नं योनि॒मनु॑ सं॒चर॑न्तं द्र॒प्सं जु॑हो॒म्यनु॑ स॒प्त होत्राः॑
drapsaścaskanda prathamām̐ anu dyūnimaṃ ca yonimanu yaśca pūrvaḥ samānaṃ yonimanu saṃcarantaṃ drapsaṃ juhomyanu sapta hotrāḥ
Drapsa and Skanda first made the movable and the fixed wombs; alike moving in the womb they, seven priests, offer the Drapsa oblation.

यस्ते॑ द्र॒प्सः स्कन्द॑ति॒ यस्ते॑ अं॒शुर्बा॒हुच्यु॑तो धि॒षणा॑या उ॒पस्था॑त् । अ॒ध्व॒र्योर्वा॒ परि॑ वा॒ यः प॒वित्रा॒त्तं ते॑ जुहोमि॒ मन॑सा॒ वष॑ट्कृतम्
yaste drapsaḥ skandati yaste aṃśurbāhucyuto dhiṣaṇāyā upasthāt adhvaryorvā pari vā yaḥ pavitrāttaṃ te juhomi manasā vaṣaṭkṛtam
He who is Drapsa that purifies, he who is radiant like the ray with broad shoulders, stood by thought for the wise. Whether from the front or around, whether he is pure or so, I offer him Drapsa with mind made like the oblation.

यस्ते॑ द्र॒प्सः स्क॒न्नो यस्ते॑ अं॒शुर॒वश्च॒ यः प॒रः स्रु॒चा । अ॒यं दे॒वो बृह॒स्पतिः॒ सं तं सि॑ञ्चतु॒ राध॑से
yaste drapsaḥ skanno yaste aṃśuravaśca yaḥ paraḥ srucā ayaṃ devo bṛhaspatiḥ saṃ taṃ siñcatu rādhase
He who is Drapsa, he who is Skanda, he who is the ray and shining one, who pours forth abundance — this god Bṛhaspati, may he sprinkle that rain of favour.

पय॑स्वती॒रोष॑धयः॒ पय॑स्वन्माम॒कं वचः॑ । अ॒पां पय॑स्व॒दित्पय॒स्तेन॑ मा स॒ह शु॑न्धत
payasvatīroṣadhayaḥ payasvanmāmakaṃ vacaḥ apāṃ payasvaditpayastena mā saha śundhata
Waters, herbs, give to me my speech; O waters, with that speech of yours do not make me foul.
