Pūṣā goes on the forward path, Pūṣā goes on the path of the heavens, Pūṣā goes on the path of earth; moving both near and far he traverses the peoples.
Pūṣan has been born on the best path of paths, on the best path of heaven on the best path ofearth, he goes forward and backward over both (worlds), the assemblies longed for by all, discriminating (themerits of the dead).
Pusan was born to move on distant pathways, on the road far from earth and far from heaven. To both most wonted places of assembly he travels and returns with perfect knowledge.
