Sarasvatī who guides the chariot with her invocations, O goddess who delights the fathers — come, touch us on this sacrificial grass; grant to me this body, I desire it.

Divine Sarasvatī, who rides in the same chariot with the Pitṛs, and delighted (along with them) by the(sacrificial) viands, seated on the sacred grass gratified (by our offering, and grant us wholesome food. worshippers at this sacrifice a portion of food fit for thousands, and increase of riches.

Sarasvati, who camest with the Fathers, with them rejoicing thee in our oblations, Seated upon this sacred grass be joyful, and give us strengthening food that brings no sickness.
