पू॒षा त्वे॒तश्च्या॑वयतु॒ प्र वि॒द्वानन॑ष्टपशु॒र्भुव॑नस्य गो॒पाः । स त्वै॒तेभ्यः॒ परि॑ ददत्पि॒तृभ्यो॒ऽग्निर्दे॒वेभ्यः॑ सुविद॒त्रिये॑भ्यः
pūṣā tvetaścyāvayatu pra vidvānanaṣṭapaśurbhuvanasya gopāḥ sa tvaitebhyaḥ pari dadatpitṛbhyo'gnirdevebhyaḥ suvidatriyebhyaḥ
Pūṣā, and you who know the paths, drive forth the cattle and flocks of the world; Agni gave these to those, to the fathers, to the gods, to the sages of spacious knowledge.
May the discriminating Pūṣan, whose cattle are never lost, the protector of all beings, transfer youhence (to a better world); may he give you to these Pitṛs; may Agni (give) you to the beneficent gods.
Guard of the world, whose cattle ne'er are injured, may Pusan bear thee hence, for he hath knowledge. May he consign thee to these Fathers' keeping, and to the gracious Gods let Agni give thee.
