उदु॑ श्रि॒य उ॒षसो॒ रोच॑माना॒ अस्थु॑र॒पां नोर्मयो॒ रुश॑न्तः । कृ॒णोति॒ विश्वा॑ सु॒पथा॑ सु॒गान्यभू॑दु॒ वस्वी॒ दक्षि॑णा म॒घोनी॑
udu śriya uṣaso rocamānā asthurapāṃ normayo ruśantaḥ kṛṇoti viśvā supathā sugānyabhūdu vasvī dakṣiṇā maghonī
May riches of dawn and radiance be ours; may those who are pure and swift give us measure. He makes all paths auspicious, the strong and rich one, the skillful giver of gifts.

भ॒द्रा द॑दृक्ष उर्वि॒या वि भा॒स्युत्ते॑ शो॒चिर्भा॒नवो॒ द्याम॑पप्तन् । आ॒विर्वक्षः॑ कृणुषे शु॒म्भमा॒नोषो॑ देवि॒ रोच॑माना॒ महो॑भिः
bhadrā dadṛkṣa urviyā vi bhāsyutte śocirbhānavo dyāmapaptan āvirvakṣaḥ kṛṇuṣe śumbhamānoṣo devi rocamānā mahobhiḥ
May auspicious rays behold the wide firmament; the radiant ones reached the sky and took their place. O wind, make the chest with strength; O goddess, shining with great splendour, bring forth the dawn.

वह॑न्ति सीमरु॒णासो॒ रुश॑न्तो॒ गावः॑ सु॒भगा॑मुर्वि॒या प्र॑था॒नाम् । अपे॑जते॒ शूरो॒ अस्ते॑व॒ शत्रू॒न्बाध॑ते॒ तमो॑ अजि॒रो न वोळ्हा॑
vahanti sīmaruṇāso ruśanto gāvaḥ subhagāmurviyā prathānām apejate śūro asteva śatrūnbādhate tamo ajiro na voḷhā
They carry red-gleaming cows, rushing forth, the delightful herds going first. The brave advance; the enemies are struck—darkness is conquered, the stubborn calf not resisting.

सु॒गोत ते॑ सु॒पथा॒ पर्व॑तेष्ववा॒ते अ॒पस्त॑रसि स्वभानो । सा न॒ आ व॑ह पृथुयामन्नृष्वे र॒यिं दि॑वो दुहितरिष॒यध्यै॑
sugota te supathā parvateṣvavāte apastarasi svabhāno sā na ā vaha pṛthuyāmannṛṣve rayiṃ divo duhitariṣayadhyai
O shining one, you are the good path atop the mountains and in the winds; the waters flow readily. She who brings the broad wealth of heaven invokes the songs of the daughters of light.

सा व॑ह॒ योक्षभि॒रवा॒तोषो॒ वरं॒ वह॑सि॒ जोष॒मनु॑ । त्वं दि॑वो दुहित॒र्या ह॑ दे॒वी पू॒र्वहू॑तौ मं॒हना॑ दर्श॒ता भूः॑
sā vaha yokṣabhiravātoṣo varaṃ vahasi joṣamanu tvaṃ divo duhitaryā ha devī pūrvahūtau maṃhanā darśatā bhūḥ
She who carries the kine, who brings the mighty best for you with joy — you, O daughter of Heaven, O goddess, who show the former oblations, behold the Earth.

उत्ते॒ वय॑श्चिद्वस॒तेर॑पप्त॒न्नर॑श्च॒ ये पि॑तु॒भाजो॒ व्यु॑ष्टौ । अ॒मा स॒ते व॑हसि॒ भूरि॑ वा॒ममुषो॑ देवि दा॒शुषे॒ मर्त्या॑य
utte vayaścidvasaterapaptannaraśca ye pitubhājo vyuṣṭau amā sate vahasi bhūri vāmamuṣo devi dāśuṣe martyāya
Rise, those who have strength and have attained the seat of worship, those born of fathers and engaged in sacrifice. Ride us onward, O goddess, whether widely or narrowly, give favor to mortals.
