उदु॑ श्रि॒य उ॒षसो॒ रोच॑माना॒ अस्थु॑र॒पां नोर्मयो॒ रुश॑न्तः । कृ॒णोति॒ विश्वा॑ सु॒पथा॑ सु॒गान्यभू॑दु॒ वस्वी॒ दक्षि॑णा म॒घोनी॑
udu śriya uṣaso rocamānā asthurapāṃ normayo ruśantaḥ kṛṇoti viśvā supathā sugānyabhūdu vasvī dakṣiṇā maghonī
May riches of dawn and radiance be ours; may those who are pure and swift give us measure. He makes all paths auspicious, the strong and rich one, the skillful giver of gifts.
The white and shining tints of the dawn have spread like the waves of the waters, for the beautifying (of the world); she renders all good roads easy to be traversed; she ho is replete with delight, excellence and health.
THE radiant Dawns have risen up for glory, in their white splendour like the waves of waters. She maketh paths all easy, fair to travel, and, rich, hath shown herself benign and friendly.
