Rise, those who have strength and have attained the seat of worship, those born of fathers and engaged in sacrifice. Ride us onward, O goddess, whether widely or narrowly, give favor to mortals.
At your dawning, divine Uṣas, the birds spring up from their nests, and men who have to gain their sustenance (arise); you, divine Uṣas, bring ample wealth to the mortal who is nigh you, the offerer of the oblation.
As the birds fly forth from their restingplaces, so men with store of food rise at thy dawning. Yea, to the liberal mortal who rernaineth at home, O Goddess Dawn, much good thou bringest.
