को व॑स्त्रा॒ता व॑सवः॒ को व॑रू॒ता द्यावा॑भूमी अदिते॒ त्रासी॑थां नः । सही॑यसो वरुण मित्र॒ मर्ता॒त्को वो॑ऽध्व॒रे वरि॑वो धाति देवाः
ko vastrātā vasavaḥ ko varūtā dyāvābhūmī adite trāsīthāṃ naḥ sahīyaso varuṇa mitra martātko vo'dhvare varivo dhāti devāḥ
Who are the Vesvas who protect, who terrify the heavens and earth, O Aditi, on our behalf? Who are the friends Varuna and Mitra who are steadfast; who strew paths and place waters—these gods uphold the roads for us.

प्र ये धामा॑नि पू॒र्व्याण्यर्चा॒न्वि यदु॒च्छान्वि॑यो॒तारो॒ अमू॑राः । वि॒धा॒तारो॒ वि ते द॑धु॒रज॑स्रा ऋ॒तधी॑तयो रुरुचन्त द॒स्माः
pra ye dhāmāni pūrvyāṇyarcānvi yaducchānviyotāro amūrāḥ vidhātāro vi te dadhurajasrā ṛtadhītayo rurucanta dasmāḥ
Those who first measured the realms, who advanced the early homesteads and were not dull—creative ordainers: they set the bright courses, singers of law, who made the orders resound.

प्र प॒स्त्या॒३॒॑मदि॑तिं॒ सिन्धु॑म॒र्कैः स्व॒स्तिमी॑ळे स॒ख्याय॑ दे॒वीम् । उ॒भे यथा॑ नो॒ अह॑नी नि॒पात॑ उ॒षासा॒नक्ता॑ करता॒मद॑ब्धे
pra pastyā3maditiṃ sindhumarkaiḥ svastimīḷe sakhyāya devīm ubhe yathā no ahanī nipāta uṣāsānaktā karatāmadabdhe
To the bright Aditi by the rivers and oceans we bring the morning-honors with hymns; both dawns that fell upon us at daybreak shone like companions—may the goddess be propitious.

व्य॑र्य॒मा वरु॑णश्चेति॒ पन्था॑मि॒षस्पतिः॑ सुवि॒तं गा॒तुम॒ग्निः । इन्द्रा॑विष्णू नृ॒वदु॒ षु स्तवा॑ना॒ शर्म॑ नो यन्त॒मम॑व॒द्वरू॑थम्
vyaryamā varuṇaśceti panthāmiṣaspatiḥ suvitaṃ gātumagniḥ indrāviṣṇū nṛvadu ṣu stavānā śarma no yantamamavadvarūtham
I invoke Varuna and Aditya, the path-makers, the lord of ways, and Agni skilled to go rightly. Indra and Vishnu, praised by men, may they send us gracious protection and auspicious shelter.

आ पर्व॑तस्य म॒रुता॒मवां॑सि दे॒वस्य॑ त्रा॒तुर॑व्रि॒ भग॑स्य । पात्पति॒र्जन्या॒दंह॑सो नो मि॒त्रो मि॒त्रिया॑दु॒त न॑ उरुष्येत्
ā parvatasya marutāmavāṃsi devasya trāturavri bhagasya pātpatirjanyādaṃhaso no mitro mitriyāduta na uruṣyet
From the mountain of the Maruts, the godlike savior came to our clan; may the protector not cause grief. May Mitra not injure our people, nor let enmity vex the beloved.

नू रो॑दसी॒ अहि॑ना बु॒ध्न्ये॑न स्तुवी॒त दे॑वी॒ अप्ये॑भिरि॒ष्टैः । स॒मु॒द्रं न सं॒चर॑णे सनि॒ष्यवो॑ घ॒र्मस्व॑रसो न॒द्यो॒३॒॑ अप॑ व्रन्
nū rodasī ahinā budhnyena stuvīta devī apyebhiriṣṭaiḥ samudraṃ na saṃcaraṇe saniṣyavo gharmasvaraso nadyo3 apa vran
Do not let the nightingales weep, nor let the hostile flood swallow; may the goddess praised by men protect even with these spells. May they not wander the ocean; let not the hot-sounding floods seize the ship.

दे॒वैर्नो॑ दे॒व्यदि॑ति॒र्नि पा॑तु दे॒वस्त्रा॒ता त्रा॑यता॒मप्र॑युच्छन् । न॒हि मि॒त्रस्य॒ वरु॑णस्य धा॒सिमर्हा॑मसि प्र॒मियं॒ सान्व॒ग्नेः
devairno devyaditirni pātu devastrātā trāyatāmaprayucchan nahi mitrasya varuṇasya dhāsimarhāmasi pramiyaṃ sānvagneḥ
May the gods, not the undevout Aditi, protect us; may the saviors protect us and not refuse. I am not worthy to be the servant of Mitra or Varuna—grant the due prize, O Agni.

अ॒ग्निरी॑शे वस॒व्य॑स्या॒ग्निर्म॒हः सौभ॑गस्य । तान्य॒स्मभ्यं॑ रासते
agnirīśe vasavyasyāgnirmahaḥ saubhagasya tānyasmabhyaṃ rāsate
Agni, lord of the Vasus, great in auspiciousness, be these riches granted to us.

उषो॑ मघो॒न्या व॑ह॒ सूनृ॑ते॒ वार्या॑ पु॒रु । अ॒स्मभ्यं॑ वाजिनीवति
uṣo maghonyā vaha sūnṛte vāryā puru asmabhyaṃ vājinīvati
Dawn, carry forward the wealth-bearing sound, O youthful one; bring to us the prosperous vigor.

तत्सु नः॑ सवि॒ता भगो॒ वरु॑णो मि॒त्रो अ॑र्य॒मा । इन्द्रो॑ नो॒ राध॒सा ग॑मत्
tatsu naḥ savitā bhago varuṇo mitro aryamā indro no rādhasā gamat
So may Savita, Varuna, Mitra, Aryaman be for us; Indra came to us with favor and energy.
