आ पर्व॑तस्य म॒रुता॒मवां॑सि दे॒वस्य॑ त्रा॒तुर॑व्रि॒ भग॑स्य । पात्पति॒र्जन्या॒दंह॑सो नो मि॒त्रो मि॒त्रिया॑दु॒त न॑ उरुष्येत्
ā parvatasya marutāmavāṃsi devasya trāturavri bhagasya pātpatirjanyādaṃhaso no mitro mitriyāduta na uruṣyet
From the mountain of the Maruts, the godlike savior came to our clan; may the protector not cause grief. May Mitra not injure our people, nor let enmity vex the beloved.
I have recourse to the protection of Parvata, of the Maruts, and of the divine protector, Bhaga; may the lord (Varuṇa) preserve us from human wretchedness, and may Mitra defend us with a friendly regard.
I have besought the favourof the Maruts, of Parvata, of Bhaga God who rescues. From trouble caused by man the Lord preserve us; from woe sent by his friend let Mitra save us.
