praite vadantu pra vayaṃ vadāma grāvabhyo vācaṃ vadatā vadadbhyaḥ yadadrayaḥ parvatāḥ sākamāśavaḥ ślokaṃ ghoṣaṃ bharathendrāya sominaḥ
Let them speak: we speak forth, we speak to the herding folk; speaking to the chariot-men, speak to them. They who are like mountains, allies, the steeds, the trumpet-sounding, the Soma-well-known.

Rigveda · Chapter Mandala 10, Sukta 94 · Verse 10.94.2
ete vadanti śatavatsahasravadabhi krandanti haritebhirāsabhiḥ viṣṭvī grāvāṇaḥ sukṛtaḥ sukṛtyayā hotuścitpūrve haviradyamāśata
These speak like hundreds, like thousands; they cry aloud with green choirs. The pasture-moving herds are well-made, with righteous works may the oblation be—let the ancient hymn of the sacrificer be.

ete vadantyavidannanā madhu nyūṅkhayante adhi pakva āmiṣi vṛkṣasya śākhāmaruṇasya bapsataste sūbharvā vṛṣabhāḥ premarāviṣuḥ
They say: ‘These, unknowing, press out honey; they draw forth sweet ripeness. From the branch of the ruddy tree the bulls poured forth; the cows loved and poured milk.’

bṛhadvadanti madireṇa mandinendraṃ krośanto'vidannanā madhu saṃrabhyā dhīrāḥ svasṛbhiranartiṣurāghoṣayantaḥ pṛthivīmupabdibhiḥ
They loudly proclaim in the strong drink, crying out: ‘The unknowing press out honey.’ Brave ones, with steady minds, standing with their own kine, shout aloud and take the earth with offerings.

suparṇā vācamakratopa dyavyākhare kṛṣṇā iṣirā anartiṣuḥ nya1ṅni yantyuparasya niṣkṛtaṃ purū reto dadhire sūryaśvitaḥ
The winged ones utter speech without deceit; the sky is their clarion, the black and strong winds their aides against foes. Flocks go upward; the men placed the seed-born seed, Sun-white, as it were, set apart above.

Rigveda · Chapter Mandala 10, Sukta 94 · Verse 10.94.6

Fierce like a torrent they poured together; yoked with them the bulls bore the yoke on the shoulder. Breathing, they grazed, filling the pastures; hear their foremost bellowing like the lowing of kine.

daśāvanibhyo daśakakṣyebhyo daśayoktrebhyo daśayojanebhyaḥ daśābhīśubhyo arcatājarebhyo daśa dhuro daśa yuktā vahadbhyaḥ
From ten springs, from ten granaries, from ten yokes, from ten harnessings; from ten well-good places, from countless offerings, from the houses of old age, ten steeds, ten yoked ones carried for you.

Rigveda · Chapter Mandala 10, Sukta 94 · Verse 10.94.8

te adrayo daśayantrāsa āśavasteṣāmādhānaṃ paryeti haryatam ta ū sutasya somyasyāndhasoṃ'śoḥ pīyūṣaṃ prathamasya bhejire
They, the wild ones, the ten instruments, the juices, these streams reach the gathered host. Then indeed the son of Soma poured the nectar of the first draught; the shining one sent forth its milk.
Rigveda 10.094.09
Rigveda · Chapter Mandala 10, Sukta 94 · Verse 10.94.9
te somādo harī indrasya niṃsateṃ'śuṃ duhanto adhyāsate gavi tebhirdugdhaṃ papivānsomyaṃ madhvindro vardhate prathate vṛṣāyate
Those from the Soma pressed milk like cows, drawing the stream; they milked the swift juice in the udder like kine. From them the Soma milked forth the sweet nectar; Indra grows in might, first enriching the bulls.

vṛṣā vo aṃśurna kilā riṣāthaneḷāvantaḥ sadamitsthanāśitāḥ raivatyeva mahasā cāravaḥ sthana yasya grāvāṇo ajuṣadhvamadhvaram
The bulls are not a beam of thine nor do they contend; they stood firm in the place of assembly. Like the roaring flood came the great herds; the stall of him whose kine grazed, they loosed downward.
Rigveda 10.094.11
Rigveda · Chapter Mandala 10, Sukta 94 · Verse 10.94.11
tṛdilā atṛdilāso adrayo'śramaṇā aśaṛthitā amṛtyavaḥ anāturā ajarāḥ sthāmaviṣṇavaḥ supīvaso atṛṣitā atṛṣṇajaḥ
Threefold are the angry, the unconquered; the wild ones, expelled by toil, the deathless. They are unaging, undying, firm, rich in sustenance, never satisfied with drinking.

Rigveda · Chapter Mandala 10, Sukta 94 · Verse 10.94.12
dhruvā eva vaḥ pitaro yugeyuge kṣemakāmāsaḥ sadaso na yuñjate ajuryāso hariṣāco haridrava ā dyāṃ raveṇa pṛthivīmaśuśravuḥ
Steadfast indeed are your fathers in the ages; they desired welfare in generations; the true did not decline. They heard the earth and sky with sunlike song; they made plain the world.
Rigveda 10.094.13
Rigveda · Chapter Mandala 10, Sukta 94 · Verse 10.94.13
tadidvadantyadrayo vimocane yāmannañjaspā iva ghedupabdibhiḥ vapanto bījamiva dhānyākṛtaḥ pṛñcanti somaṃ na minanti bapsataḥ
Thus say the wild who loosened: like the swift chariot they spread the gathered seed. Growing like grain the sown, they bear the Soma; the drinkers do not lessen it.

Rigveda · Chapter Mandala 10, Sukta 94 · Verse 10.94.14

sute adhvare adhi vācamakratā krīḷayo na mātaraṃ tudantaḥ vi ṣū muñcā suṣuvuṣo manīṣāṃ vi vartantāmadrayaścāyamānāḥ
Born at the ford, near the speechless waters, playful among the mothers, they do not strike. Release poison, O gentle ones; sleepful counsels move in thought—these wild ones grow and rejoice.
