अ॒यं वां॒ मधु॑मत्तमः सु॒तः सोम॑ ऋतावृधा । तम॑श्विना पिबतं ति॒रोअ॑ह्न्यं ध॒त्तं रत्ना॑नि दा॒शुषे॑
ayaṃ vāṃ madhumattamaḥ sutaḥ soma ṛtāvṛdhā tamaśvinā pibataṃ tiroahnyaṃ dhattaṃ ratnāni dāśuṣe
This honey-imbued, famed, Soma, increased in seasons, drink of the Ashvins—take the chariot’s wealth; grant the jewels to the tenfold household.

trivandhureṇa trivṛtā supeśasā rathenā yātamaśvinā kaṇvāso vāṃ brahma kṛṇvantyadhvare teṣāṃ su śaṛṇutaṃ havam
With three-thronged axle and three-fold rein, with a well-equipped chariot the Ashvins advance; Kanva-clad ones make the ritual potent—hear the oblation.

अश्वि॑ना॒ मधु॑मत्तमं पा॒तं सोम॑मृतावृधा । अथा॒द्य द॑स्रा॒ वसु॒ बिभ्र॑ता॒ रथे॑ दा॒श्वांस॒मुप॑ गच्छतम्
aśvinā madhumattamaṃ pātaṃ somamṛtāvṛdhā athādya dasrā vasu bibhratā rathe dāśvāṃsamupa gacchatam
O Ashvins, drink the honeyed most-famed Soma, life-giving; then the ten splendid vasus bore the chariot and went forward together with the tenfold host.

त्रि॒ष॒ध॒स्थे ब॒र्हिषि॑ विश्ववेदसा॒ मध्वा॑ य॒ज्ञं मि॑मिक्षतम् । कण्वा॑सो वां सु॒तसो॑मा अ॒भिद्य॑वो यु॒वां ह॑वन्ते अश्विना
triṣadhasthe barhiṣi viśvavedasā madhvā yajñaṃ mimikṣatam kaṇvāso vāṃ sutasomā abhidyavo yuvāṃ havante aśvinā
Placed in three tiers in the sacred hymn, all-knowing Madhva surveyed the sacrifice; Kanva-clad Soma-seekers invoked you Ashvins who dwell in the offering.

yābhiḥ kaṇvamabhiṣṭibhiḥ prāvataṃ yuvamaśvinā tābhiḥ ṣva1smām̐ avataṃ śubhaspatī pātaṃ somamṛtāvṛdhā
By those offerings with which you purified Kanva, you, O Ashvins, have come forward; by them, the keeper of auspiciousness bore us—drink the life-giving Soma.

सु॒दासे॑ दस्रा॒ वसु॒ बिभ्र॑ता॒ रथे॒ पृक्षो॑ वहतमश्विना । र॒यिं स॑मु॒द्रादु॒त वा॑ दि॒वस्पर्य॒स्मे ध॑त्तं पुरु॒स्पृह॑म्
sudāse dasrā vasu bibhratā rathe pṛkṣo vahatamaśvinā rayiṃ samudrāduta vā divasparyasme dhattaṃ puruspṛham
Sudaśa, bearing ten, O Vasus, drove the chariot's steeds; may this wealth, brought up from the sea or borne by heaven, be set for my desire of men.

यन्ना॑सत्या परा॒वति॒ यद्वा॒ स्थो अधि॑ तु॒र्वशे॑ । अतो॒ रथे॑न सु॒वृता॑ न॒ आ ग॑तं सा॒कं सूर्य॑स्य र॒श्मिभिः॑
yannāsatyā parāvati yadvā stho adhi turvaśe ato rathena suvṛtā na ā gataṃ sākaṃ sūryasya raśmibhiḥ
Whatever does not reach the other side, whatever stands beyond the threefold might — therefore by the chariot well-guided that which came not, together with the sun’s rays, has not arrived.

अ॒र्वाञ्चा॑ वां॒ सप्त॑योऽध्वर॒श्रियो॒ वह॑न्तु॒ सव॒नेदुप॑ । इषं॑ पृ॒ञ्चन्ता॑ सु॒कृते॑ सु॒दान॑व॒ आ ब॒र्हिः सी॑दतं नरा
arvāñcā vāṃ saptayo'dhvaraśriyo vahantu savanedupa iṣaṃ pṛñcantā sukṛte sudānava ā barhiḥ sīdataṃ narā
May the seven steeds bearing your chariot, O Arvañcha, bring forth all wealth; seeking this prize, the well-formed Sudana has set the sacred grass on the elevation for men.

तेन॑ नास॒त्या ग॑तं॒ रथे॑न॒ सूर्य॑त्वचा । येन॒ शश्व॑दू॒हथु॑र्दा॒शुषे॒ वसु॒ मध्वः॒ सोम॑स्य पी॒तये॑
tena nāsatyā gataṃ rathena sūryatvacā yena śaśvadūhathurdāśuṣe vasu madhvaḥ somasya pītaye
By that chariot the skin of the sun has not come to us; by which the immortal cows milked, the Vasus for Soma's draught made sweet for drinking.

उ॒क्थेभि॑र॒र्वागव॑से पुरू॒वसू॑ अ॒र्कैश्च॒ नि ह्व॑यामहे । शश्व॒त्कण्वा॑नां॒ सद॑सि प्रि॒ये हि कं॒ सोमं॑ प॒पथु॑रश्विना
ukthebhirarvāgavase purūvasū arkaiśca ni hvayāmahe śaśvatkaṇvānāṃ sadasi priye hi kaṃ somaṃ papathuraśvinā
With hymns we call forth the former aids, the rays and eulogies; may the Kanvas ever be present in gatherings, that beloved Soma may travel with the steeds.
