योनि॑ष्ट इन्द्र नि॒षदे॑ अकारि॒ तमा नि षी॑द स्वा॒नो नार्वा॑ । वि॒मुच्या॒ वयो॑ऽव॒सायाश्वा॑न्दो॒षा वस्तो॒र्वही॑यसः प्रपि॒त्वे
yoniṣṭa indra niṣade akāri tamā ni ṣīda svāno nārvā vimucyā vayo'vasāyāśvāndoṣā vastorvahīyasaḥ prapitve
Indra made dry the womb; he settled the seat for the woman Narva. He released the year’s burden; the steed of life bore away the fever and flow of the vital stream.

ओ त्ये नर॒ इन्द्र॑मू॒तये॑ गु॒र्नू चि॒त्तान्स॒द्यो अध्व॑नो जगम्यात् । दे॒वासो॑ म॒न्युं दास॑स्य श्चम्न॒न्ते न॒ आ व॑क्षन्सुवि॒ताय॒ वर्ण॑म्
o tye nara indramūtaye gurnū cittānsadyo adhvano jagamyāt devāso manyuṃ dāsasya ścamnante na ā vakṣansuvitāya varṇam
O man, then to rouse Indra many priests invoked him; straightway the chariot went forth along the path. The gods bind Manyu, the servant; they do not declare the orderly lineage for wisdom.

अव॒ त्मना॑ भरते॒ केत॑वेदा॒ अव॒ त्मना॑ भरते॒ फेन॑मु॒दन् । क्षी॒रेण॑ स्नातः॒ कुय॑वस्य॒ योषे॑ ह॒ते ते स्या॑तां प्रव॒णे शिफा॑याः
ava tmanā bharate ketavedā ava tmanā bharate phenamudan kṣīreṇa snātaḥ kuyavasya yoṣe hate te syātāṃ pravaṇe śiphāyāḥ
He fills himself with banners, he fills himself with foam. Bathed in milk, may the woman of the stream whose hair was cut be for them as healers in the muddy place.

यु॒योप॒ नाभि॒रुप॑रस्या॒योः प्र पूर्वा॑भिस्तिरते॒ राष्टि॒ शूरः॑ । अ॒ञ्ज॒सी कु॑लि॒शी वी॒रप॑त्नी॒ पयो॑ हिन्वा॒ना उ॒दभि॑र्भरन्ते
yuyopa nābhiruparasyāyoḥ pra pūrvābhistirate rāṣṭi śūraḥ añjasī kuliśī vīrapatnī payo hinvānā udabhirbharante
You, overcoming with navels and upper parts, the foremost passes cross the regions, warrior of the people. The wife of the valiant man plunges into the pool; they fill it from the spring with milk.

प्रति॒ यत्स्या नीथाद॑र्शि॒ दस्यो॒रोको॒ नाच्छा॒ सद॑नं जान॒ती गा॑त् । अध॑ स्मा नो मघवञ्चर्कृ॒तादिन्मा नो॑ म॒घेव॑ निष्ष॒पी परा॑ दाः
prati yatsyā nīthādarśi dasyoroko nācchā sadanaṃ jānatī gāt adha smā no maghavañcarkṛtādinmā no magheva niṣṣapī parā dāḥ
Whoever sees not the law of right, who does not know the seat of the thief and the house — may he not steal our wealth; may he not cast down our splendid gifts; grant us abundance.

स त्वं न॑ इन्द्र॒ सूर्ये॒ सो अ॒प्स्व॑नागा॒स्त्व आ भ॑ज जीवशं॒से । मान्त॑रां॒ भुज॒मा री॑रिषो नः॒ श्रद्धि॑तं ते मह॒त इ॑न्द्रि॒याय॑
sa tvaṃ na indra sūrye so apsvanāgāstva ā bhaja jīvaśaṃse māntarāṃ bhujamā rīriṣo naḥ śraddhitaṃ te mahata indriyāya
You, O Indra, like the sun among waters, be our protector; partake of life and strength. Hold for us the counsel; strengthen our brave ones; may your great senses be favorable to us.

अधा॑ मन्ये॒ श्रत्ते॑ अस्मा अधायि॒ वृषा॑ चोदस्व मह॒ते धना॑य । मा नो॒ अकृ॑ते पुरुहूत॒ योना॒विन्द्र॒ क्षुध्य॑द्भ्यो॒ वय॑ आसु॒तिं दाः॑
adhā manye śratte asmā adhāyi vṛṣā codasva mahate dhanāya mā no akṛte puruhūta yonāvindra kṣudhyadbhyo vaya āsutiṃ dāḥ
I consider it here: strengthen for us the herd and rouse the mighty wealth. Do not act against us, priest who harms the generator; from hunger protect those who come quickly to our offering.

मा नो॑ वधीरिन्द्र॒ मा परा॑ दा॒ मा नः॑ प्रि॒या भोज॑नानि॒ प्र मो॑षीः । आ॒ण्डा मा नो॑ मघवञ्छक्र॒ निर्भे॒न्मा नः॒ पात्रा॑ भेत्स॒हजा॑नुषाणि
mā no vadhīrindra mā parā dā mā naḥ priyā bhojanāni pra moṣīḥ āṇḍā mā no maghavañchakra nirbhenmā naḥ pātrā bhetsahajānuṣāṇi
Do not slay us, Indra; give us not the beyond; do not deprive us of cherished food. Grant us riches, O generous one; do not let our vessels and household goods be taken away.

अ॒र्वाङेहि॒ सोम॑कामं त्वाहुर॒यं सु॒तस्तस्य॑ पिबा॒ मदा॑य । उ॒रु॒व्यचा॑ ज॒ठर॒ आ वृ॑षस्व पि॒तेव॑ नः शृणुहि हू॒यमा॑नः
arvāṅehi somakāmaṃ tvāhurayaṃ sutastasya pibā madāya uruvyacā jaṭhara ā vṛṣasva piteva naḥ śaṛṇuhi hūyamānaḥ
Bring hither, Soma, the longed-for draught they call: “drink this” to his joy. Make the stomach mighty, O one of broad thigh; increase strength for us; listen, O invoker.
