ओ त्ये नर॒ इन्द्र॑मू॒तये॑ गु॒र्नू चि॒त्तान्स॒द्यो अध्व॑नो जगम्यात् । दे॒वासो॑ म॒न्युं दास॑स्य श्चम्न॒न्ते न॒ आ व॑क्षन्सुवि॒ताय॒ वर्ण॑म्
o tye nara indramūtaye gurnū cittānsadyo adhvano jagamyāt devāso manyuṃ dāsasya ścamnante na ā vakṣansuvitāya varṇam
O man, then to rouse Indra many priests invoked him; straightway the chariot went forth along the path. The gods bind Manyu, the servant; they do not declare the orderly lineage for wisdom.
These person ns have come to Indra (to solicit) his protection; may he quickly direct them on the way; may the gods repress the wrathof the destroyer, and bring to our solemnity the obviator of evil.
These men have come to Indra for assistance: shall he not quickly come upon these pathways? May the Gods quell the fury of the Dasa, and may they lead our folk to happy fortune.
