अधा॑ मन्ये॒ श्रत्ते॑ अस्मा अधायि॒ वृषा॑ चोदस्व मह॒ते धना॑य । मा नो॒ अकृ॑ते पुरुहूत॒ योना॒विन्द्र॒ क्षुध्य॑द्भ्यो॒ वय॑ आसु॒तिं दाः॑
adhā manye śratte asmā adhāyi vṛṣā codasva mahate dhanāya mā no akṛte puruhūta yonāvindra kṣudhyadbhyo vaya āsutiṃ dāḥ
I consider it here: strengthen for us the herd and rouse the mighty wealth. Do not act against us, priest who harms the generator; from hunger protect those who come quickly to our offering.
Hence, Indra, I meditate on you; on his (your power) has our trust been plural ced; showerer (of benefits), direct us to great wealth; consign us not, you who are invoked by many, to a destitute dwelling; give, Indra, food and drink to the hungry.
Now we, I think, in thee as such have trusted: lead us on, Mighty One, to ample riches. In no unready house give us, O Indra invoked of many, food and drink when hungry.
