इ॒मां ते॒ धियं॒ प्र भ॑रे म॒हो म॒हीम॒स्य स्तो॒त्रे धि॒षणा॒ यत्त॑ आन॒जे । तमु॑त्स॒वे च॑ प्रस॒वे च॑ सास॒हिमिन्द्रं॑ दे॒वासः॒ शव॑सामद॒न्ननु॑
imāṃ te dhiyaṃ pra bhare maho mahīmasya stotre dhiṣaṇā yatta ānaje tamutsave ca prasave ca sāsahimindraṃ devāsaḥ śavasāmadannanu
Fill this mind of yours with the great thought, the wise praise of this earth—what the seer conceived. In birth and in day of deliverance we endure together; may Indra, the god, accept this oblation of the departed.

अ॒स्य श्रवो॑ न॒द्यः॑ स॒प्त बि॑भ्रति॒ द्यावा॒क्षामा॑ पृथि॒वी द॑र्श॒तं वपुः॑ । अ॒स्मे सू॑र्याचन्द्र॒मसा॑भि॒चक्षे॑ श्र॒द्धे कमि॑न्द्र चरतो वितर्तु॒रम्
asya śravo nadyaḥ sapta bibhrati dyāvākṣāmā pṛthivī darśataṃ vapuḥ asme sūryācandramasābhicakṣe śraddhe kamindra carato vitarturam
The ear of this (sacrifice) bears the seven rivers, it holds heaven and eye, it saw the form of earth. May the Sun and Moon look upon us; may the devoted Indra, roaming, protect the messenger.

तं स्मा॒ रथं॑ मघव॒न्प्राव॑ सा॒तये॒ जैत्रं॒ यं ते॑ अनु॒मदा॑म संग॒मे । आ॒जा न॑ इन्द्र॒ मन॑सा पुरुष्टुत त्वा॒यद्भ्यो॑ मघव॒ञ्छर्म॑ यच्छ नः
taṃ smā rathaṃ maghavanprāva sātaye jaitraṃ yaṃ te anumadāma saṃgame ājā na indra manasā puruṣṭuta tvāyadbhyo maghavañcharma yaccha naḥ
Bestow upon him this chariot, O mighty one; hasten the offering which follows you in conflict. May Indra with mind strengthened by the ancestor (grant) to us the spoils and the heroic raiment which he has for us.

व॒यं ज॑येम॒ त्वया॑ यु॒जा वृत॑म॒स्माक॒मंश॒मुद॑वा॒ भरे॑भरे । अ॒स्मभ्य॑मिन्द्र॒ वरि॑वः सु॒गं कृ॑धि॒ प्र शत्रू॑णां मघव॒न्वृष्ण्या॑ रुज
vayaṃ jayema tvayā yujā vṛtamasmākamaṃśamudavā bharebhare asmabhyamindra varivaḥ sugaṃ kṛdhi pra śatrūṇāṃ maghavanvṛṣṇyā ruja
May we win with you; join your well-formed might to our strength; fill up our portion and send it forth. O Indra, bestower of blessings, wield your bounty against our enemies, O strong one of the Vrishnis.

नाना॒ हि त्वा॒ हव॑माना॒ जना॑ इ॒मे धना॑नां धर्त॒रव॑सा विप॒न्यवः॑ । अ॒स्माकं॑ स्मा॒ रथ॒मा ति॑ष्ठ सा॒तये॒ जैत्रं॒ ही॑न्द्र॒ निभृ॑तं॒ मन॒स्तव॑
nānā hi tvā havamānā janā ime dhanānāṃ dhartaravasā vipanyavaḥ asmākaṃ smā rathamā tiṣṭha sātaye jaitraṃ hīndra nibhṛtaṃ manastava
Many are the men who have praised you as our sacrificer; these are the owners of wealth, strong-holders of battle. May our chariots stand firm for us; make victorious the resolve of Indra, upheld in mind.

गो॒जिता॑ बा॒हू अमि॑तक्रतुः सि॒मः कर्म॑न्कर्मञ्छ॒तमू॑तिः खजंक॒रः । अ॒क॒ल्प इन्द्रः॑ प्रति॒मान॒मोज॒साथा॒ जना॒ वि ह्व॑यन्ते सिषा॒सवः॑
gojitā bāhū amitakratuḥ simaḥ karmankarmañchatamūtiḥ khajaṃkaraḥ akalpa indraḥ pratimānamojasāthā janā vi hvayante siṣāsavaḥ
He who was famed for cattle, with mighty arms, of boundless deeds, a lion in action, a doer of deeds and a breaker of forts—Indra, unwearied, of resplendent might, the people call with praise as the lord of treasures.

उत्ते॑ श॒तान्म॑घव॒न्नुच्च॒ भूय॑स॒ उत्स॒हस्रा॑द्रिरिचे कृ॒ष्टिषु॒ श्रवः॑ । अ॒मा॒त्रं त्वा॑ धि॒षणा॑ तित्विषे म॒ह्यधा॑ वृ॒त्राणि॑ जिघ्नसे पुरंदर
utte śatānmaghavannucca bhūyasa utsahasrādririce kṛṣṭiṣu śravaḥ amātraṃ tvā dhiṣaṇā titviṣe mahyadhā vṛtrāṇi jighnase puraṃdara
Arise, O mighty one, be more exalted, rouse thy zeal with a thousandfold impulse; O slayer of foes, with counsel protect us. For our sake, O thoughtful one, vanquish the mighty Vrtra, O slayer of cities.

त्रि॒वि॒ष्टि॒धातु॑ प्रति॒मान॒मोज॑सस्ति॒स्रो भूमी॑र्नृपते॒ त्रीणि॑ रोच॒ना । अती॒दं विश्वं॒ भुव॑नं ववक्षिथाश॒त्रुरि॑न्द्र ज॒नुषा॑ स॒नाद॑सि
triviṣṭidhātu pratimānamojasastisro bhūmīrnṛpate trīṇi rocanā atīdaṃ viśvaṃ bhuvanaṃ vavakṣithāśatrurindra januṣā sanādasi
Threefold is the might that sets the measure; three are the earths for the king, three are the shining realms. This world, this universe, the foe Indra declared with thunderous voice to be indeed threefold, O ancient one.

त्वां दे॒वेषु॑ प्रथ॒मं ह॑वामहे॒ त्वं ब॑भूथ॒ पृत॑नासु सास॒हिः । सेमं नः॑ का॒रुमु॑पम॒न्युमु॒द्भिद॒मिन्द्रः॑ कृणोतु प्रस॒वे रथं॑ पु॒रः
tvāṃ deveṣu prathamaṃ havāmahe tvaṃ babhūtha pṛtanāsu sāsahiḥ semaṃ naḥ kārumupamanyumudbhidamindraḥ kṛṇotu prasave rathaṃ puraḥ
We first invoke you among the gods; you became leader among the chieftains, companion in battle. May Indra make this shield for us like a skillful artisan; may the chariot be brought forth in the onset.

त्वं जि॑गेथ॒ न धना॑ रुरोधि॒थार्भे॑ष्वा॒जा म॑घवन्म॒हत्सु॑ च । त्वामु॒ग्रमव॑से॒ सं शि॑शीम॒स्यथा॑ न इन्द्र॒ हव॑नेषु चोदय
tvaṃ jigetha na dhanā rurodhithārbheṣvājā maghavanmahatsu ca tvāmugramavase saṃ śiśīmasyathā na indra havaneṣu codaya
You conquered, you did not yield; you overcame wealth and cattle in mighty deeds. You, O foremost, sat above the foemen; stir our oblations at the sacred fires, O Indra.

वि॒श्वाहेन्द्रो॑ अधिव॒क्ता नो॑ अ॒स्त्वप॑रिह्वृताः सनुयाम॒ वाज॑म् । तन्नो॑ मि॒त्रो वरु॑णो मामहन्ता॒मदि॑तिः॒ सिन्धुः॑ पृथि॒वी उ॒त द्यौः
viśvāhendro adhivaktā no astvaparihvṛtāḥ sanuyāma vājam tanno mitro varuṇo māmahantāmaditiḥ sindhuḥ pṛthivī uta dyauḥ
Lord of all wealth, Indra, be our advocate; may we not be deprived of vigour. May Mitra and Varuna, Aditi, Sindhu, Earth and Heaven grant strength to us and protect our might.
