प्रति॑ वां॒ रथं॑ नृपती ज॒रध्यै॑ ह॒विष्म॑ता॒ मन॑सा य॒ज्ञिये॑न । यो वां॑ दू॒तो न धि॑ष्ण्या॒वजी॑ग॒रच्छा॑ सू॒नुर्न पि॒तरा॑ विवक्मि
prati vāṃ rathaṃ nṛpatī jaradhyai haviṣmatā manasā yajñiyena yo vāṃ dūto na dhiṣṇyāvajīgaracchā sūnurna pitarā vivakmi
May the charioteer, lord of the chariot, bring you an offering with mind devoted to the rite; the messenger who is not to be despised, the son not unmindful of his fathers.

अशो॑च्य॒ग्निः स॑मिधा॒नो अ॒स्मे उपो॑ अदृश्र॒न्तम॑सश्चि॒दन्ताः॑ । अचे॑ति के॒तुरु॒षसः॑ पु॒रस्ता॑च्छ्रि॒ये दि॒वो दु॑हि॒तुर्जाय॑मानः
aśocyagniḥ samidhāno asme upo adṛśrantamasaścidantāḥ aceti keturuṣasaḥ purastācchriye divo duhiturjāyamānaḥ
O grief-removing Agni, gather the fuel for me; unseen they smote and perished. The banner, the hosts, the visible ones stood before the celestial nurture.

अ॒भि वां॑ नू॒नम॑श्विना॒ सुहो॑ता॒ स्तोमैः॑ सिषक्ति नासत्या विव॒क्वान् । पू॒र्वीभि॑र्यातं प॒थ्या॑भिर॒र्वाक्स्व॒र्विदा॒ वसु॑मता॒ रथे॑न
abhi vāṃ nūnamaśvinā suhotā stomaiḥ siṣakti nāsatyā vivakvān pūrvībhiryātaṃ pathyābhirarvāksvarvidā vasumatā rathena
The Aśvins, bounteous, brought you wealth with hymns; they strengthened the heroic in earnest with ancient paths, all-knowing Vasumat drove the chariot.

अ॒वोर्वां॑ नू॒नम॑श्विना यु॒वाकु॑र्हु॒वे यद्वां॑ सु॒ते मा॑ध्वी वसू॒युः । आ वां॑ वहन्तु॒ स्थवि॑रासो॒ अश्वाः॒ पिबा॑थो अ॒स्मे सुषु॑ता॒ मधू॑नि
avorvāṃ nūnamaśvinā yuvākurhuve yadvāṃ sute mādhvī vasūyuḥ ā vāṃ vahantu sthavirāso aśvāḥ pibātho asme suṣutā madhūni
Truly the young Aśvins yoked to you came, and those who envied your progeny did not prevail; bring forth wise steeds, bearers of nobility, let them drink the sweetest mead.

प्राची॑मु देवाश्विना॒ धियं॒ मेऽमृ॑ध्रां सा॒तये॑ कृतं वसू॒युम् । विश्वा॑ अविष्टं॒ वाज॒ आ पुरं॑धी॒स्ता नः॑ शक्तं शचीपती॒ शची॑भिः
prācīmu devāśvinā dhiyaṃ me'mṛdhrāṃ sātaye kṛtaṃ vasūyum viśvā aviṣṭaṃ vāja ā puraṃdhīstā naḥ śaktaṃ śacīpatī śacībhiḥ
Eastward, O Aśvins, may you seat my inspired thought on the immortal stream; all wealth poured forth, the mighty stallion carried power for us, goddess with strength and her allies.

अ॒वि॒ष्टं धी॒ष्व॑श्विना न आ॒सु प्र॒जाव॒द्रेतो॒ अह्र॑यं नो अस्तु । आ वां॑ तो॒के तन॑ये॒ तूतु॑जानाः सु॒रत्ना॑सो दे॒ववी॑तिं गमेम
aviṣṭaṃ dhīṣvaśvinā na āsu prajāvadreto ahrayaṃ no astu ā vāṃ toke tanaye tūtujānāḥ suratnāso devavītiṃ gamema
Be established in heroic counsel, Aśvins, let not progeny-lust be absent; grant us offspring, sons who cry aloud, with wondrous gems and the gods’ protection we go forth.

ए॒ष स्य वां॑ पूर्व॒गत्वे॑व॒ सख्ये॑ नि॒धिर्हि॒तो मा॑ध्वी रा॒तो अ॒स्मे । अहे॑ळता॒ मन॒सा या॑तम॒र्वाग॒श्नन्ता॑ ह॒व्यं मानु॑षीषु वि॒क्षु
eṣa sya vāṃ pūrvagatveva sakhye nidhirhito mādhvī rāto asme aheḷatā manasā yātamarvāgaśnantā havyaṃ mānuṣīṣu vikṣu
May this (prayer) be for you from earlier times: friendship, wealth, and glory be ours; may the wise and the radiant protect us. Those who eat the sacrificial food among men, restrain them by mind.

एक॑स्मि॒न्योगे॑ भुरणा समा॒ने परि॑ वां स॒प्त स्र॒वतो॒ रथो॑ गात् । न वा॑यन्ति सु॒भ्वो॑ दे॒वयु॑क्ता॒ ये वां॑ धू॒र्षु त॒रण॑यो॒ वह॑न्ति
ekasminyoge bhuraṇā samāne pari vāṃ sapta sravato ratho gāt na vāyanti subhvo devayuktā ye vāṃ dhūrṣu taraṇayo vahanti
In a single union, like a well-guided chariot, the sevenfold stream moves around you. They do not sing, O auspicious ones; those who are eager carry you across the ford.

अ॒स॒श्चता॑ म॒घव॑द्भ्यो॒ हि भू॒तं ये रा॒या म॑घ॒देयं॑ जु॒नन्ति॑ । प्र ये बन्धुं॑ सू॒नृता॑भिस्ति॒रन्ते॒ गव्या॑ पृ॒ञ्चन्तो॒ अश्व्या॑ म॒घानि॑
asaścatā maghavadbhyo hi bhūtaṃ ye rāyā maghadeyaṃ junanti pra ye bandhuṃ sūnṛtābhistirante gavyā pṛñcanto aśvyā maghāni
They are not hostile to the generous; those who, for the realm's sake, collect treasures. When kinsmen, sworn together, bind the bond, they milk the cows and harness the stallions for bounty.

नू मे॒ हव॒मा शृ॑णुतं युवाना यासि॒ष्टं व॒र्तिर॑श्विना॒विरा॑वत् । ध॒त्तं रत्ना॑नि॒ जर॑तं च सू॒रीन्यू॒यं पा॑त स्व॒स्तिभिः॒ सदा॑ नः
nū me havamā śaṛṇutaṃ yuvānā yāsiṣṭaṃ vartiraśvināvirāvat dhattaṃ ratnāni jarataṃ ca sūrīnyūyaṃ pāta svastibhiḥ sadā naḥ
Hear now our invocation: youthful steeds, steadfast in course, the steeds have returned. Cast down jewels and rustless spear to the champions; may these ever bring us welfare.
