अ॒स॒श्चता॑ म॒घव॑द्भ्यो॒ हि भू॒तं ये रा॒या म॑घ॒देयं॑ जु॒नन्ति॑ । प्र ये बन्धुं॑ सू॒नृता॑भिस्ति॒रन्ते॒ गव्या॑ पृ॒ञ्चन्तो॒ अश्व्या॑ म॒घानि॑
asaścatā maghavadbhyo hi bhūtaṃ ye rāyā maghadeyaṃ junanti pra ye bandhuṃ sūnṛtābhistirante gavyā pṛñcanto aśvyā maghāni
They are not hostile to the generous; those who, for the realm's sake, collect treasures. When kinsmen, sworn together, bind the bond, they milk the cows and harness the stallions for bounty.
Be propitious to those who are affluent (in oblations), who offer the wealth that is to be offered for thesake of riches; they who encourage a kinsman with kind commendations, distributing wealth of cattle and ofhorses.
Exhaustless be your bounty to our princes who with their wealth incite the gift of riches, Who further friendship with their noble natures, combining wealth in kine with wealth in herses.
