अ॒वि॒ष्टं धी॒ष्व॑श्विना न आ॒सु प्र॒जाव॒द्रेतो॒ अह्र॑यं नो अस्तु । आ वां॑ तो॒के तन॑ये॒ तूतु॑जानाः सु॒रत्ना॑सो दे॒ववी॑तिं गमेम
aviṣṭaṃ dhīṣvaśvinā na āsu prajāvadreto ahrayaṃ no astu ā vāṃ toke tanaye tūtujānāḥ suratnāso devavītiṃ gamema
Be established in heroic counsel, Aśvins, let not progeny-lust be absent; grant us offspring, sons who cry aloud, with wondrous gems and the gods’ protection we go forth.
Protect us, Aśvins, in these pious acts, may our procreative power fail not; but (through your favour)possessing sons and grandsons, distributing desired riches and enjoying ample wealth, may we accomplish theworship of the gods.
Favour us in these prayers of ours, O Asvins. May we have genial vigour, ne'er to fail us. So may we, strong in children and descendants, go, wealthy, to the banquet that awaits you.
