प्र ब्रह्मै॑तु॒ सद॑नादृ॒तस्य॒ वि र॒श्मिभिः॑ ससृजे॒ सूर्यो॒ गाः । वि सानु॑ना पृथि॒वी स॑स्र उ॒र्वी पृ॒थु प्रती॑क॒मध्येधे॑ अ॒ग्निः
pra brahmaitu sadanādṛtasya vi raśmibhiḥ sasṛje sūryo gāḥ vi sānunā pṛthivī sasra urvī pṛthu pratīkamadhyedhe agniḥ
The sun created cows by his rays from the hollow of the sky; by the warm breath the earth brought forth broad, the firm, the middle one — Agni the worshipper.

इ॒मां वां॑ मित्रावरुणा सुवृ॒क्तिमिषं॒ न कृ॑ण्वे असुरा॒ नवी॑यः । इ॒नो वा॑म॒न्यः प॑द॒वीरद॑ब्धो॒ जनं॑ च मि॒त्रो य॑तति ब्रुवा॒णः
imāṃ vāṃ mitrāvaruṇā suvṛktimiṣaṃ na kṛṇve asurā navīyaḥ ino vāmanyaḥ padavīradabdho janaṃ ca mitro yatati bruvāṇaḥ
May Mitra and Varuṇa grant you this prosperous utterance; may another of these be fixed in place and the people whom Mitra strives to speak about be established.

आ वात॑स्य॒ ध्रज॑तो रन्त इ॒त्या अपी॑पयन्त धे॒नवो॒ न सूदाः॑ । म॒हो दि॒वः सद॑ने॒ जाय॑मा॒नोऽचि॑क्रदद्वृष॒भः सस्मि॒न्नूध॑न्
ā vātasya dhrajato ranta ityā apīpayanta dhenavo na sūdāḥ maho divaḥ sadane jāyamāno'cikradadvṛṣabhaḥ sasminnūdhan
The cows lowed as the wind drove them forth; as the great one of heaven arose in his dwelling, the bull lowed and yoked himself to this place.

गि॒रा य ए॒ता यु॒नज॒द्धरी॑ त॒ इन्द्र॑ प्रि॒या सु॒रथा॑ शूर धा॒यू । प्र यो म॒न्युं रिरि॑क्षतो मि॒नात्या सु॒क्रतु॑मर्य॒मणं॑ ववृत्याम्
girā ya etā yunajaddharī ta indra priyā surathā śūra dhāyū pra yo manyuṃ ririkṣato minātyā sukratumaryamaṇaṃ vavṛtyām
These songs, bringing wealth, Indra the dear charioteer, heroic in battle, cherished. He who struck down many hosts, who measured out the tribes, opened the path for the famed Mare-like one.

यज॑न्ते अस्य स॒ख्यं वय॑श्च नम॒स्विनः॒ स्व ऋ॒तस्य॒ धाम॑न् । वि पृक्षो॑ बाबधे॒ नृभिः॒ स्तवा॑न इ॒दं नमो॑ रु॒द्राय॒ प्रेष्ठ॑म्
yajante asya sakhyaṃ vayaśca namasvinaḥ sva ṛtasya dhāman vi pṛkṣo bābadhe nṛbhiḥ stavāna idaṃ namo rudrāya preṣṭham
They worship his friendship; we who bow are worshipers of the law’s abode. The wise one answered among men with praise: this obeisance to Rudra, most excellent.

आ यत्सा॒कं य॒शसो॑ वावशा॒नाः सर॑स्वती स॒प्तथी॒ सिन्धु॑माता । याः सु॒ष्वय॑न्त सु॒दुघाः॑ सुधा॒रा अ॒भि स्वेन॒ पय॑सा॒ पीप्या॑नाः
ā yatsākaṃ yaśaso vāvaśānāḥ sarasvatī saptathī sindhumātā yāḥ suṣvayanta sudughāḥ sudhārā abhi svena payasā pīpyānāḥ
She who is glorified, Sarasvatī, mother of the seven streams and of the flood of Indus, who flows, who bestows abundant milk and nectar, brings her own draughts of sweet waters.

उ॒त त्ये नो॑ म॒रुतो॑ मन्दसा॒ना धियं॑ तो॒कं च॑ वा॒जिनो॑ऽवन्तु । मा नः॒ परि॑ ख्य॒दक्ष॑रा॒ चर॒न्त्यवी॑वृध॒न्युज्यं॒ ते र॒यिं नः॑
uta tye no maruto mandasānā dhiyaṃ tokaṃ ca vājino'vantu mā naḥ pari khyadakṣarā carantyavīvṛdhanyujyaṃ te rayiṃ naḥ
May the Maruts grant us gentle intelligence and sustain our speech and strength. Let them not let letters wander around us; may they increase our wealth.

प्र वो॑ म॒हीम॒रम॑तिं कृणुध्वं॒ प्र पू॒षणं॑ विद॒थ्यं१॒॑ न वी॒रम् । भगं॑ धि॒यो॑ऽवि॒तारं॑ नो अ॒स्याः सा॒तौ वाजं॑ राति॒षाचं॒ पुरं॑धिम्
pra vo mahīmaramatiṃ kṛṇudhvaṃ pra pūṣaṇaṃ vidathyaṃ1 na vīram bhagaṃ dhiyo'vitāraṃ no asyāḥ sātau vājaṃ rātiṣācaṃ puraṃdhim
Make the wide earth strong; perform the wise Pūṣan’s command, O heroes. Bestow the portion of thought; bring forth the blessing of this community’s wealth, the ford and the town’s high prize.

अच्छा॒यं वो॑ मरुतः॒ श्लोक॑ ए॒त्वच्छा॒ विष्णुं॑ निषिक्त॒पामवो॑भिः । उ॒त प्र॒जायै॑ गृण॒ते वयो॑ धुर्यू॒यं पा॑त स्व॒स्तिभिः॒ सदा॑ नः
acchāyaṃ vo marutaḥ śloka etvacchā viṣṇuṃ niṣiktapāmavobhiḥ uta prajāyai gṛṇate vayo dhuryūyaṃ pāta svastibhiḥ sadā naḥ
This boon of the Maruts is yours: they struck Vishnu with their radiant shafts. They speak for progeny; O you at the yoke, protect us with blessings always.
