They worship his friendship; we who bow are worshipers of the law’s abode. The wise one answered among men with praise: this obeisance to Rudra, most excellent.

Let the offerers of adoration, engaging (in pious acts), worship (Rudra) in their own hall of sacrifice,(solicitous) of his friendship; praised by the leaders (of rites), he lavishes food (upon them); this most acceptableadoration is addressed to Rudra.

In their own place of sacrifice adorers worship to gain long life and win his friendship. He hath poured food on men when they have praised him; be this, the dearest reverence, paid to Rudra.
