उ॒त त्ये नो॑ म॒रुतो॑ मन्दसा॒ना धियं॑ तो॒कं च॑ वा॒जिनो॑ऽवन्तु । मा नः॒ परि॑ ख्य॒दक्ष॑रा॒ चर॒न्त्यवी॑वृध॒न्युज्यं॒ ते र॒यिं नः॑
uta tye no maruto mandasānā dhiyaṃ tokaṃ ca vājino'vantu mā naḥ pari khyadakṣarā carantyavīvṛdhanyujyaṃ te rayiṃ naḥ
May the Maruts grant us gentle intelligence and sustain our speech and strength. Let them not let letters wander around us; may they increase our wealth.
May these joyous and swift-going Maruts protect our sacrifice and our offspring; let not the imperishablegoddess of speech, deserting us, speak (kindly) to our (adversaries); and may both (she and the Marut)associated augment our riches.
And may the mighty Maruts, too, rejoicing, aid our devotion and protect our offspring. Let not swift-moving Aksara neglect us: they have increased our own appropriate riches,
