प्र ब्रह्मै॑तु॒ सद॑नादृ॒तस्य॒ वि र॒श्मिभिः॑ ससृजे॒ सूर्यो॒ गाः । वि सानु॑ना पृथि॒वी स॑स्र उ॒र्वी पृ॒थु प्रती॑क॒मध्येधे॑ अ॒ग्निः
pra brahmaitu sadanādṛtasya vi raśmibhiḥ sasṛje sūryo gāḥ vi sānunā pṛthivī sasra urvī pṛthu pratīkamadhyedhe agniḥ
The sun created cows by his rays from the hollow of the sky; by the warm breath the earth brought forth broad, the firm, the middle one — Agni the worshipper.
Let the prayer proceed from the nail of the sacrifice, for Sūrya with his rays lets loose the waters; thespacious earth spreads (studded) with mountains, and Agni blazes on the extensive plural inṣ
LET the prayer issue from the seat of Order, for Surya with his beams hath loosed the cattle. With lofty ridges earth is far extended, and Agni's flame hath lit the spacious surface.
