सु॒त इत्त्वं निमि॑श्ल इन्द्र॒ सोमे॒ स्तोमे॒ ब्रह्म॑णि श॒स्यमा॑न उ॒क्थे । यद्वा॑ यु॒क्ताभ्यां॑ मघव॒न्हरि॑भ्यां॒ बिभ्र॒द्वज्रं॑ बा॒ह्वोरि॑न्द्र॒ यासि॑
suta ittvaṃ nimiśla indra some stome brahmaṇi śasyamāna ukthe yadvā yuktābhyāṃ maghavanharibhyāṃ bibhradvajraṃ bāhvorindra yāsi
So be thou placed, O Indra and Soma, in the hymn, in the Brahman prayer, in the chanting of seeded growth. When joined with the two mighty ones, you bore the bolt, Indra, with your arm forth.

यद्वा॑ दि॒वि पार्ये॒ सुष्वि॑मिन्द्र वृत्र॒हत्येऽव॑सि॒ शूर॑सातौ । यद्वा॒ दक्ष॑स्य बि॒भ्युषो॒ अबि॑भ्य॒दर॑न्धयः॒ शर्ध॑त इन्द्र॒ दस्यू॑न्
yadvā divi pārye suṣvimindra vṛtrahatye'vasi śūrasātau yadvā dakṣasya bibhyuṣo abibhyadarandhayaḥ śardhata indra dasyūn
When Indra struck down Vṛtra, you shone forth in the heaven’s expanse; when Indra, the hero, became formidable, he terrified the hostile bands.

पाता॑ सु॒तमिन्द्रो॑ अस्तु॒ सोमं॑ प्रणे॒नीरु॒ग्रो ज॑रि॒तार॑मू॒ती । कर्ता॑ वी॒राय॒ सुष्व॑य उ लो॒कं दाता॒ वसु॑ स्तुव॒ते की॒रये॑ चित्
pātā sutamindro astu somaṃ praṇenīrugro jaritāramūtī kartā vīrāya suṣvaya u lokaṃ dātā vasu stuvate kīraye cit
May Indra, giver of progeny, accept this potent Soma; the doer, the hero, bestows the world and wealth, praised and famed.

गन्तेया॑न्ति॒ सव॑ना॒ हरि॑भ्यां ब॒भ्रिर्वज्रं॑ प॒पिः सोमं॑ द॒दिर्गाः । कर्ता॑ वी॒रं नर्यं॒ सर्व॑वीरं॒ श्रोता॒ हवं॑ गृण॒तः स्तोम॑वाहाः
ganteyānti savanā haribhyāṃ babhrirvajraṃ papiḥ somaṃ dadirgāḥ kartā vīraṃ naryaṃ sarvavīraṃ śrotā havaṃ gṛṇataḥ stomavāhāḥ
Cows come bearing the thunderbolt and offer Soma; the doer, the manly one, all-heroic, the listener who praises the oblation, the caller of hymns.

अस्मै॑ व॒यं यद्वा॒वान॒ तद्वि॑विष्म॒ इन्द्रा॑य॒ यो नः॑ प्र॒दिवो॒ अप॒स्कः । सु॒ते सोमे॑ स्तु॒मसि॒ शंस॑दु॒क्थेन्द्रा॑य॒ ब्रह्म॒ वर्ध॑नं॒ यथास॑त्
asmai vayaṃ yadvāvāna tadviviṣma indrāya yo naḥ pradivo apaskaḥ sute some stumasi śaṃsadukthendrāya brahma vardhanaṃ yathāsat
For us indeed you were wondrous to Indra when he approached; O protector, you, Soma’s son, are praised in lofty hymns, increasing the sacred power as in truth.

ब्रह्मा॑णि॒ हि च॑कृ॒षे वर्ध॑नानि॒ ताव॑त्त इन्द्र म॒तिभि॑र्विविष्मः । सु॒ते सोमे॑ सुतपाः॒ शंत॑मानि॒ राण्ड्या॑ क्रियास्म॒ वक्ष॑णानि य॒ज्ञैः
brahmāṇi hi cakṛṣe vardhanāni tāvatta indra matibhirviviṣmaḥ sute some sutapāḥ śaṃtamāni rāṇḍyā kriyāsma vakṣaṇāni yajñaiḥ
He wrought increases of power; Indra was amazed at these counsels. O Soma’s son, ascetic, pacifier, the rites and speeches for sacrifice are performing duties.

स नो॑ बोधि पुरो॒ळाशं॒ ररा॑णः॒ पिबा॒ तु सोमं॒ गोऋ॑जीकमिन्द्र । एदं ब॒र्हिर्यज॑मानस्य सीदो॒रुं कृ॑धि त्वाय॒त उ॑ लो॒कम्
sa no bodhi puroḷāśaṃ rarāṇaḥ pibā tu somaṃ goṛjīkamindra edaṃ barhiryajamānasya sīdoruṃ kṛdhi tvāyata u lokam
May he make us cognizant of the hill‑dwelling folk; drink Soma, O Indra of the cow‑sustaining host. This offering outside the sacrificer’s place, grant it to you who sustain the world.

स म॑न्दस्वा॒ ह्यनु॒ जोष॑मुग्र॒ प्र त्वा॑ य॒ज्ञास॑ इ॒मे अ॑श्नुवन्तु । प्रेमे हवा॑सः पुरुहू॒तम॒स्मे आ त्वे॒यं धीरव॑स इन्द्र यम्याः
sa mandasvā hyanu joṣamugra pra tvā yajñāsa ime aśnuvantu preme havāsaḥ puruhūtamasme ā tveyaṃ dhīravasa indra yamyāḥ
He softly, following strength, rejoiced mightily; may these who partake of the rites eat for thee. In the love of the sacred seat be our celebrated protector, O Indra, with the others.

तं वः॑ सखायः॒ सं यथा॑ सु॒तेषु॒ सोमे॑भिरीं पृणता भो॒जमिन्द्र॑म् । कु॒वित्तस्मा॒ अस॑ति नो॒ भरा॑य॒ न सुष्वि॒मिन्द्रोऽव॑से मृधाति
taṃ vaḥ sakhāyaḥ saṃ yathā suteṣu somebhirīṃ pṛṇatā bhojamindram kuvittasmā asati no bharāya na suṣvimindro'vase mṛdhāti
O companions, pour out for you as for Sutas the Soma‑cups, filled—rejoice, O Indra. Otherwise there is no burden upon us; Indra does not fail to be gracious.

ए॒वेदिन्द्रः॑ सु॒ते अ॑स्तावि॒ सोमे॑ भ॒रद्वा॑जेषु॒ क्षय॒दिन्म॒घोनः॑ । अस॒द्यथा॑ जरि॒त्र उ॒त सू॒रिरिन्द्रो॑ रा॒यो वि॒श्ववा॑रस्य दा॒ता
evedindraḥ sute astāvi some bharadvājeṣu kṣayadinmaghonaḥ asadyathā jaritra uta sūririndro rāyo viśvavārasya dātā
Thus Indra stood with the Sutas, bearing up the Bharadvajas on the day of decline. Even as a mighty one preserved the old, Indra, giver of realms, upheld the regions of the universe.
