ए॒वेदिन्द्रः॑ सु॒ते अ॑स्तावि॒ सोमे॑ भ॒रद्वा॑जेषु॒ क्षय॒दिन्म॒घोनः॑ । अस॒द्यथा॑ जरि॒त्र उ॒त सू॒रिरिन्द्रो॑ रा॒यो वि॒श्ववा॑रस्य दा॒ता
evedindraḥ sute astāvi some bharadvājeṣu kṣayadinmaghonaḥ asadyathā jaritra uta sūririndro rāyo viśvavārasya dātā
Thus Indra stood with the Sutas, bearing up the Bharadvajas on the day of decline. Even as a mighty one preserved the old, Indra, giver of realms, upheld the regions of the universe.
Thus has Indra, the lord of the opulent, been glorified by the Bhaāradvājas, upon the libation being effused, that he may be th director of his eulogist (to virtue), that Indra may be the giver of all desirable riches.
While Soma flowed, thus Indra hath been lauded, Ruler of nobles, mid the Bharadvajas, That Indra may become the singer's patron and give him wealth in every kind of treasure.
