May he make us cognizant of the hill‑dwelling folk; drink Soma, O Indra of the cow‑sustaining host. This offering outside the sacrificer’s place, grant it to you who sustain the world.
Accept, Indra, who are condescending, our cakes and butter; drink the soma mixed with curds; sit down upon this sacred grass (strewn by) the worshipper; grant ample possessions to him who depends on you.
Mark well our sacrificial cake, delighted Indra, drink Soma and the milk commingled. Here on the sacrificer's grass be seated: give ample room to thy devoted servant.
