ईळे॑ अ॒ग्निं स्वव॑सं॒ नमो॑भिरि॒ह प्र॑स॒त्तो वि च॑यत्कृ॒तं नः॑ । रथै॑रिव॒ प्र भ॑रे वाज॒यद्भिः॑ प्रदक्षि॒णिन्म॒रुतां॒ स्तोम॑मृध्याम्
īḷe agniṃ svavasaṃ namobhiriha prasatto vi cayatkṛtaṃ naḥ rathairiva pra bhare vājayadbhiḥ pradakṣiṇinmarutāṃ stomamṛdhyām
O Agni, be kind to your household; with offerings propitious, accept what is set before us. Like chariots they bore the wealth; around the Maruts let us sing the hymn.

आ ये त॒स्थुः पृष॑तीषु श्रु॒तासु॑ सु॒खेषु॑ रु॒द्रा म॒रुतो॒ रथे॑षु । वना॑ चिदुग्रा जिहते॒ नि वो॑ भि॒या पृ॑थि॒वी चि॑द्रेजते॒ पर्व॑तश्चित्
ā ye tasthuḥ pṛṣatīṣu śrutāsu sukheṣu rudrā maruto ratheṣu vanā cidugrā jihate ni vo bhiyā pṛthivī cidrejate parvataścit
They who stood on the lands, heard in joys—the Rudra Maruts in chariots. A wild beast has left the woods; the earth trembled, even the mountain split.

पर्व॑तश्चि॒न्महि॑ वृ॒द्धो बि॑भाय दि॒वश्चि॒त्सानु॑ रेजत स्व॒ने वः॑ । यत्क्रीळ॑थ मरुत ऋष्टि॒मन्त॒ आप॑ इव स॒ध्र्य॑ञ्चो धवध्वे
parvataścinmahi vṛddho bibhāya divaścitsānu rejata svane vaḥ yatkrīḷatha maruta ṛṣṭimanta āpa iva sadhryañco dhavadhve
And the mountain yet great was frightened; heaven’s seat recoiled at your own. When the Marut sported they rushed like waters, strong in battle, they ran together.

व॒रा इ॒वेद्रै॑व॒तासो॒ हिर॑ण्यैर॒भि स्व॒धाभि॑स्त॒न्वः॑ पिपिश्रे । श्रि॒ये श्रेयां॑सस्त॒वसो॒ रथे॑षु स॒त्रा महां॑सि चक्रिरे त॒नूषु॑
varā ivedraivatāso hiraṇyairabhi svadhābhistanvaḥ pipiśre śriye śreyāṃsastavaso ratheṣu satrā mahāṃsi cakrire tanūṣu
Like cows they came with gifts of gold and offerings; they drank with oblations. In chariots for glory and excellence they fashioned mighty harnesses and adorned their bodies.

अ॒ज्ये॒ष्ठासो॒ अक॑निष्ठास ए॒ते सं भ्रात॑रो वावृधुः॒ सौभ॑गाय । युवा॑ पि॒ता स्वपा॑ रु॒द्र ए॑षां सु॒दुघा॒ पृश्निः॑ सु॒दिना॑ म॒रुद्भ्यः॑
ajyeṣṭhāso akaniṣṭhāsa ete saṃ bhrātaro vāvṛdhuḥ saubhagāya yuvā pitā svapā rudra eṣāṃ sudughā pṛśniḥ sudinā marudbhyaḥ
Eldest, younger, these brothers increased together for prosperity. Young father, Rudra of their race, Pṛśni, of the good day—gracious to the Maruts.

यदु॑त्त॒मे म॑रुतो मध्य॒मे वा॒ यद्वा॑व॒मे सु॑भगासो दि॒वि ष्ठ । अतो॑ नो रुद्रा उ॒त वा॒ न्व१॒॑स्याग्ने॑ वि॒त्ताद्ध॒विषो॒ यद्यजा॑म
yaduttame maruto madhyame vā yadvāvame subhagāso divi ṣṭha ato no rudrā uta vā nva1syāgne vittāddhaviṣo yadyajāma
Whether the Marut is foremost, middle, or last, the radiant ones are placed in heaven. Therefore Rudra or Agni bring us wealth with kine for the friends.

अ॒ग्निश्च॒ यन्म॑रुतो विश्ववेदसो दि॒वो वह॑ध्व॒ उत्त॑रा॒दधि॒ ष्णुभिः॑ । ते म॑न्दसा॒ना धुन॑यो रिशादसो वा॒मं ध॑त्त॒ यज॑मानाय सुन्व॒ते
agniśca yanmaruto viśvavedaso divo vahadhva uttarādadhi ṣṇubhiḥ te mandasānā dhunayo riśādaso vāmaṃ dhatta yajamānāya sunvate
Agni and Marut, all-knowing, carried the heaven upward among the hot winds. They, the mild ones, shook with hymns and set the left hand for the sacrificer—attentive to his rite.

अग्ने॑ म॒रुद्भिः॑ शु॒भय॑द्भि॒रृक्व॑भिः॒ सोमं॑ पिब मन्दसा॒नो ग॑ण॒श्रिभिः॑ । पा॒व॒केभि॑र्विश्वमि॒न्वेभि॑रा॒युभि॒र्वैश्वा॑नर प्र॒दिवा॑ के॒तुना॑ स॒जूः
agne marudbhiḥ śubhayadbhirṛkvabhiḥ somaṃ piba mandasāno gaṇaśribhiḥ pāvakebhirviśvaminvebhirāyubhirvaiśvānara pradivā ketunā sajūḥ
Agni, drink Soma with the Maruts, with auspicious ones and choirs. With purifiers, with all-connecting Vasus and Vaishvanara, together with the standard flag they were joined.
