पर्व॑तश्चि॒न्महि॑ वृ॒द्धो बि॑भाय दि॒वश्चि॒त्सानु॑ रेजत स्व॒ने वः॑ । यत्क्रीळ॑थ मरुत ऋष्टि॒मन्त॒ आप॑ इव स॒ध्र्य॑ञ्चो धवध्वे
parvataścinmahi vṛddho bibhāya divaścitsānu rejata svane vaḥ yatkrīḷatha maruta ṛṣṭimanta āpa iva sadhryañco dhavadhve
And the mountain yet great was frightened; heaven’s seat recoiled at your own. When the Marut sported they rushed like waters, strong in battle, they ran together.
The mountain, vast and lofty (though it be), is alarmed at your noise, and the summit of the firmament trembles when, lance-armed Maruts, you are sporting; you rush along together like waters.
Though vast and tall, the mountain is affrighted, the height of heaven is shaken at your roaring When, armed with lances, ye are sporting, Maruts, and rush along together like the waters.
