ईळे॑ अ॒ग्निं स्वव॑सं॒ नमो॑भिरि॒ह प्र॑स॒त्तो वि च॑यत्कृ॒तं नः॑ । रथै॑रिव॒ प्र भ॑रे वाज॒यद्भिः॑ प्रदक्षि॒णिन्म॒रुतां॒ स्तोम॑मृध्याम्
īḷe agniṃ svavasaṃ namobhiriha prasatto vi cayatkṛtaṃ naḥ rathairiva pra bhare vājayadbhiḥ pradakṣiṇinmarutāṃ stomamṛdhyām
O Agni, be kind to your household; with offerings propitious, accept what is set before us. Like chariots they bore the wealth; around the Maruts let us sing the hymn.
I adore the protecting Agni with hymns; may he, propitiated on this occasion, approve of our acts; offer (worship with praises), intended to obtain food; as if (proceeding) with cars (to the goal), circumambulating (the fire); may I exalt the praise of the maruts.
I LAUD with reverence the gracious Agni: here may he sit and part our meed among us. As with spoil-seeking cars I bring oblation: turned rightward I will swell the Marut's, praise-song.
