अ॒यम॒ग्निः सु॒वीर्य॒स्येशे॑ म॒हः सौभ॑गस्य । रा॒य ई॑शे स्वप॒त्यस्य॒ गोम॑त॒ ईशे॑ वृत्र॒हथा॑नाम्
ayamagniḥ suvīryasyeśe mahaḥ saubhagasya rāya īśe svapatyasya gomata īśe vṛtrahathānām
This Agni is the great excellently endowed lord of glory; ruler and lord of wealth, the puissant slayer of hostile forces.

इ॒मं न॑रो मरुतः सश्चता॒ वृधं॒ यस्मि॒न्रायः॒ शेवृ॑धासः । अ॒भि ये सन्ति॒ पृत॑नासु दू॒ढ्यो॑ वि॒श्वाहा॒ शत्रु॑माद॒भुः
imaṃ naro marutaḥ saścatā vṛdhaṃ yasminrāyaḥ śevṛdhāsaḥ abhi ye santi pṛtanāsu dūḍhyo viśvāhā śatrumādabhuḥ
This man is the Marut's companion, increasing in might, in whom kings have grown. Those who stood among the chiefs became enemies by force, the mighty overcame them.

स त्वं नो॑ रा॒यः शि॑शीहि॒ मीढ्वो॑ अग्ने सु॒वीर्य॑स्य । तुवि॑द्युम्न॒ वर्षि॑ष्ठस्य प्र॒जाव॑तोऽनमी॒वस्य॑ शु॒ष्मिणः॑
sa tvaṃ no rāyaḥ śiśīhi mīḍhvo agne suvīryasya tuvidyumna varṣiṣṭhasya prajāvato'namīvasya śuṣmiṇaḥ
You, O sovereign, be the ruler over us, Agni of mighty deeds. Shine forth, O puissant one, like the excellent thunderer, from the most excellent sire and gentle strength.

चक्रि॒र्यो विश्वा॒ भुव॑ना॒भि सा॑स॒हिश्चक्रि॑र्दे॒वेष्वा दुवः॑ । आ दे॒वेषु॒ यत॑त॒ आ सु॒वीर्य॒ आ शंस॑ उ॒त नृ॒णाम्
cakriryo viśvā bhuvanābhi sāsahiścakrirdeveṣvā duvaḥ ā deveṣu yatata ā suvīrya ā śaṃsa uta nṛṇām
He made the worlds move with strength; he strove among the gods. O mighty Agni, be thou praised among the gods who strive; bestow on men the noble glory and fame.

मा नो॑ अ॒ग्नेऽम॑तये॒ मावीर॑तायै रीरधः । मागोता॑यै सहसस्पुत्र॒ मा नि॒देऽप॒ द्वेषां॒स्या कृ॑धि
mā no agne'mataye māvīratāyai rīradhaḥ māgotāyai sahasasputra mā nide'pa dveṣāṃsyā kṛdhi
Do not, O Agni, disregard us; do not cherish enmity toward the brave. Do not act against the lineage and the thousand sons; do not bring slumber or malice upon us.

श॒ग्धि वाज॑स्य सुभग प्र॒जाव॒तोऽग्ने॑ बृह॒तो अ॑ध्व॒रे । सं रा॒या भूय॑सा सृज मयो॒भुना॒ तुवि॑द्युम्न॒ यश॑स्वता
śagdhi vājasya subhaga prajāvato'gne bṛhato adhvare saṃ rāyā bhūyasā sṛja mayobhunā tuvidyumna yaśasvatā
Agni, lord of wealth, befriend the progeny; set forth the great road. O puissant one, create for us abundant kingship; be thou renowned and splendid.
