आ होता॑ म॒न्द्रो वि॒दथा॑न्यस्थात्स॒त्यो यज्वा॑ क॒वित॑मः॒ स वे॒धाः । वि॒द्युद्र॑थः॒ सह॑सस्पु॒त्रो अ॒ग्निः शो॒चिष्के॑शः पृथि॒व्यां पाजो॑ अश्रेत्
ā hotā mandro vidathānyasthātsatyo yajvā kavitamaḥ sa vedhāḥ vidyudrathaḥ sahasasputro agniḥ śociṣkeśaḥ pṛthivyāṃ pājo aśret
O Hota (priest), arise with the assembly, established in the rite—true is the singer who knows the song. Agni, with rapid flame, son of thousand, with hair like a cloud, the guardian on earth brings wealth.

अया॑मि ते॒ नम॑उक्तिं जुषस्व॒ ऋता॑व॒स्तुभ्यं॒ चेत॑ते सहस्वः । वि॒द्वाँ आ व॑क्षि वि॒दुषो॒ नि ष॑त्सि॒ मध्य॒ आ ब॒र्हिरू॒तये॑ यजत्र
ayāmi te namauktiṃ juṣasva ṛtāvastubhyaṃ cetate sahasvaḥ vidvām̐ ā vakṣi viduṣo ni ṣatsi madhya ā barhirūtaye yajatra
Accept this praise we have uttered; be pleased, O Order, with us who are mindful and gathered. Wise ones will speak, learned will seat themselves in the midst for the outward rite's sake.

द्रव॑तां त उ॒षसा॑ वा॒जय॑न्ती॒ अग्ने॒ वात॑स्य प॒थ्या॑भि॒रच्छ॑ । यत्सी॑म॒ञ्जन्ति॑ पू॒र्व्यं ह॒विर्भि॒रा व॒न्धुरे॑व तस्थतुर्दुरो॒णे
dravatāṃ ta uṣasā vājayantī agne vātasya pathyābhiraccha yatsīmañjanti pūrvyaṃ havirbhirā vandhureva tasthaturduroṇe
When the streams run and the dawn advances, Agni spreads the paths of the winds. The offerings formerly bound at the borders, placed by libations, stand firm in the difficult opening.

मि॒त्रश्च॒ तुभ्यं॒ वरु॑णः सह॒स्वोऽग्ने॒ विश्वे॑ म॒रुतः॑ सु॒म्नम॑र्चन् । यच्छो॒चिषा॑ सहसस्पुत्र॒ तिष्ठा॑ अ॒भि क्षि॒तीः प्र॒थय॒न्सूर्यो॒ नॄन्
mitraśca tubhyaṃ varuṇaḥ sahasvo'gne viśve marutaḥ sumnamarcan yacchociṣā sahasasputra tiṣṭhā abhi kṣitīḥ prathayansūryo nṝn
Mitra and Varuna, together with Agni, the Maruts all worship the gracious; may those with many sons, the singers, stand near the earth and rouse the sun and men.

व॒यं ते॑ अ॒द्य र॑रि॒मा हि काम॑मुत्ता॒नह॑स्ता॒ नम॑सोप॒सद्य॑ । यजि॑ष्ठेन॒ मन॑सा यक्षि दे॒वानस्रे॑धता॒ मन्म॑ना॒ विप्रो॑ अग्ने
vayaṃ te adya rarimā hi kāmamuttānahastā namasopasadya yajiṣṭhena manasā yakṣi devānasredhatā manmanā vipro agne
Today we have approached you with eager hands and lifted desire; with mind worship the chosen sacrificer, O Agni, protector of the gods, mindful priest.

त्वद्धि पु॑त्र सहसो॒ वि पू॒र्वीर्दे॒वस्य॒ यन्त्यू॒तयो॒ वि वाजाः॑ । त्वं दे॑हि सह॒स्रिणं॑ र॒यिं नो॑ऽद्रो॒घेण॒ वच॑सा स॒त्यम॑ग्ने
tvaddhi putra sahaso vi pūrvīrdevasya yantyūtayo vi vājāḥ tvaṃ dehi sahasriṇaṃ rayiṃ no'drogheṇa vacasā satyamagne
Grant to us, with many sons, earlier wealth—may the powers of the gods go with the offerings. Give us a thousandfold riches, O Agni, with truthful speech and vigorous might.

तुभ्यं॑ दक्ष कविक्रतो॒ यानी॒मा देव॒ मर्ता॑सो अध्व॒रे अक॑र्म । त्वं विश्व॑स्य सु॒रथ॑स्य बोधि॒ सर्वं॒ तद॑ग्ने अमृत स्वदे॒ह
tubhyaṃ dakṣa kavikrato yānīmā deva martāso adhvare akarma tvaṃ viśvasya surathasya bodhi sarvaṃ tadagne amṛta svadeha
To you, skilled poet, have we brought these songs for the mortals' paths, unmade by action. O Agni, thou art the knower of the charioteer of the universe; all that is, O Agni, is immortal in thy own body.
