प्र घा॒ न्व॑स्य मह॒तो म॒हानि॑ स॒त्या स॒त्यस्य॒ कर॑णानि वोचम् । त्रिक॑द्रुकेष्वपिबत्सु॒तस्या॒स्य मदे॒ अहि॒मिन्द्रो॑ जघान
pra ghā nvasya mahato mahāni satyā satyasya karaṇāni vocam trikadrukeṣvapibatsutasyāsya made ahimindro jaghāna
I announce to you the deeds of great might, the truths and their causes. In the threefold presses when the Soma was pressed, the serpent (Ahim) was slain by Indra.

अ॒वं॒शे द्याम॑स्तभायद्बृ॒हन्त॒मा रोद॑सी अपृणद॒न्तरि॑क्षम् । स धा॑रयत्पृथि॒वीं प॒प्रथ॑च्च॒ सोम॑स्य॒ ता मद॒ इन्द्र॑श्चकार
avaṃśe dyāmastabhāyadbṛhantamā rodasī apṛṇadantarikṣam sa dhārayatpṛthivīṃ paprathacca somasya tā mada indraścakāra
Thus he set the heavens and stretched the spacious dawn; he upheld the earth and first established order. These powers of Soma did Indra enact.

सद्मे॑व॒ प्राचो॒ वि मि॑माय॒ मानै॒र्वज्रे॑ण॒ खान्य॑तृणन्न॒दीना॑म् । वृथा॑सृजत्प॒थिभि॑र्दीर्घया॒थैः सोम॑स्य॒ ता मद॒ इन्द्र॑श्चकार
sadmeva prāco vi mimāya mānairvajreṇa khānyatṛṇannadīnām vṛthāsṛjatpathibhirdīrghayāthaiḥ somasya tā mada indraścakāra
He pierced the eastern threshold with thunderbolt, split away the rocky streams and grasses. He did not create paths in vain; by these long roads did Indra make the realms of Soma.

स प्र॑वो॒ळ्हॄन्प॑रि॒गत्या॑ द॒भीते॒र्विश्व॑मधा॒गायु॑धमि॒द्धे अ॒ग्नौ । सं गोभि॒रश्वै॑रसृज॒द्रथे॑भिः॒ सोम॑स्य॒ ता मद॒ इन्द्र॑श्चकार
sa pravoḷhṝnparigatyā dabhīterviśvamadhāgāyudhamiddhe agnau saṃ gobhiraśvairasṛjadrathebhiḥ somasya tā mada indraścakāra
He roared, moving the world, warring with the hostile in fierce combat like fire. He created teams of bulls, horses, and chariots; by these deeds Indra made the realms of Soma.

स ईं॑ म॒हीं धुनि॒मेतो॑ररम्णा॒त्सो अ॑स्ना॒तॄन॑पारयत्स्व॒स्ति । त उ॒त्स्नाय॑ र॒यिम॒भि प्र त॑स्थुः॒ सोम॑स्य॒ ता मद॒ इन्द्र॑श्चकार
sa īṃ mahīṃ dhunimetoraramṇātso asnātṝnapārayatsvasti ta utsnāya rayimabhi pra tasthuḥ somasya tā mada indraścakāra
He made the earth resound with mighty praise, bearing away the unwashed offerings; he placed the light and set the bounty. Thus did Indra by Soma appoint these powers.

सोद॑ञ्चं॒ सिन्धु॑मरिणान्महि॒त्वा वज्रे॒णान॑ उ॒षसः॒ सं पि॑पेष । अ॒ज॒वसो॑ ज॒विनी॑भिर्विवृ॒श्चन्सोम॑स्य॒ ता मद॒ इन्द्र॑श्चकार
sodañcaṃ sindhumariṇānmahitvā vajreṇāna uṣasaḥ saṃ pipeṣa ajavaso javinībhirvivṛścansomasya tā mada indraścakāra
Having struck down the mighty Marīci of the Sindhu with the thunderbolt, Dawn herself drank; the steed Ajavasa, like jugglers, spread wide the cup of Soma — thus Indra made them mine.

स वि॒द्वाँ अ॑पगो॒हं क॒नीना॑मा॒विर्भव॒न्नुद॑तिष्ठत्परा॒वृक् । प्रति॑ श्रो॒णः स्था॒द्व्य१॒॑नग॑चष्ट॒ सोम॑स्य॒ ता मद॒ इन्द्र॑श्चकार
sa vidvām̐ apagohaṃ kanīnāmāvirbhavannudatiṣṭhatparāvṛk prati śroṇaḥ sthādvya1nagacaṣṭa somasya tā mada indraścakāra
He knew and swiftly drove away the herd‑of‑cows; the small‑named waters rose up and stood apart. Each listening ear held the Soma — thus Indra made them mine.

भि॒नद्व॒लमङ्गि॑रोभिर्गृणा॒नो वि पर्व॑तस्य दृंहि॒तान्यै॑रत् । रि॒णग्रोधां॑सि कृ॒त्रिमा॑ण्येषां॒ सोम॑स्य॒ ता मद॒ इन्द्र॑श्चकार
bhinadvalamaṅgirobhirgṛṇāno vi parvatasya dṛṃhitānyairat riṇagrodhāṃsi kṛtrimāṇyeṣāṃ somasya tā mada indraścakāra
With fierce thunderbolts and resounding cries they broke the hostile bands on the mountain; they cast down the brutal, craftily formed enemies — the Soma was theirs — thus Indra made them mine.

स्वप्ने॑ना॒भ्युप्या॒ चुमु॑रिं॒ धुनिं॑ च ज॒घन्थ॒ दस्युं॒ प्र द॒भीति॑मावः । र॒म्भी चि॒दत्र॑ विविदे॒ हिर॑ण्यं॒ सोम॑स्य॒ ता मद॒ इन्द्र॑श्चकार
svapnenābhyupyā cumuriṃ dhuniṃ ca jaghantha dasyuṃ pra dabhītimāvaḥ rambhī cidatra vivide hiraṇyaṃ somasya tā mada indraścakāra
By dreams they came upon and smote the robber, pierced him with blows and seized the spoil; Rambhī, knowing, revealed the golden thing — the Soma was theirs — thus Indra made them mine.

नू॒नं सा ते॒ प्रति॒ वरं॑ जरि॒त्रे दु॑ही॒यदि॑न्द्र॒ दक्षि॑णा म॒घोनी॑ । शिक्षा॑ स्तो॒तृभ्यो॒ माति॑ ध॒ग्भगो॑ नो बृ॒हद्व॑देम वि॒दथे॑ सु॒वीराः॑
nūnaṃ sā te prati varaṃ jaritre duhīyadindra dakṣiṇā maghonī śikṣā stotṛbhyo māti dhagbhago no bṛhadvadema vidathe suvīrāḥ
Surely as thy guerdon this well‑milking Dakṣiṇā was offered to thee. May praise from the worshippers, the portion, and increase come upon us; grant us mighty riches, O hero.
