sa vidvām̐ apagohaṃ kanīnāmāvirbhavannudatiṣṭhatparāvṛk prati śroṇaḥ sthādvya1nagacaṣṭa somasya tā mada indraścakāra
He knew and swiftly drove away the herd‑of‑cows; the small‑named waters rose up and stood apart. Each listening ear held the Soma — thus Indra made them mine.
Conscious of the disappearance of the damsels, the (ṛṣi) Parivṛj, becoming manifest, stood up; the lame man overtook (them), the blind man beheld (them); in the exhilaration of the Soma, Indra has done these (deeds).
Knowing the place wherein the maids were hiding, the outcast showed himself and stood before them. The cripple stood erect, the blind beheld them. These things did Indra in the Soma's rapture.
