स्व॒स्ति नो॑ दि॒वो अ॑ग्ने पृथि॒व्या वि॒श्वायु॑र्धेहि य॒जथा॑य देव । सचे॑महि॒ तव॑ दस्म प्रके॒तैरु॑रु॒ष्या ण॑ उ॒रुभि॑र्देव॒ शंसैः॑
svasti no divo agne pṛthivyā viśvāyurdhehi yajathāya deva sacemahi tava dasma praketairuruṣyā ṇa urubhirdeva śaṃsaiḥ
May there be welfare for us from heaven, O Agni, and the earth, grant long life, O god who is worshipped. May we sit with your tokens, cities rising—praise us, O gods, with celebrated men.

इ॒मा अ॑ग्ने म॒तय॒स्तुभ्यं॑ जा॒ता गोभि॒रश्वै॑र॒भि गृ॑णन्ति॒ राधः॑ । य॒दा ते॒ मर्तो॒ अनु॒ भोग॒मान॒ड्वसो॒ दधा॑नो म॒तिभिः॑ सुजात
imā agne matayastubhyaṃ jātā gobhiraśvairabhi gṛṇanti rādhaḥ yadā te marto anu bhogamānaḍvaso dadhāno matibhiḥ sujāta
O Agni, these thoughts born in you, like strong bulls and horses, praise you. When you, moving among mortals, bestow bliss, you were born with noble minds.

अ॒ग्निं म॑न्ये पि॒तर॑म॒ग्निमा॒पिम॒ग्निं भ्रात॑रं॒ सद॒मित्सखा॑यम् । अ॒ग्नेरनी॑कं बृह॒तः स॑पर्यं दि॒वि शु॒क्रं य॑ज॒तं सूर्य॑स्य
agniṃ manye pitaramagnimāpimagniṃ bhrātaraṃ sadamitsakhāyam agneranīkaṃ bṛhataḥ saparyaṃ divi śukraṃ yajataṃ sūryasya
I regard Agni as the ancestral Agni, as the brother Agni, the friend of the householder. Near Agni, the great and bright, the heavens have worshipped the sun.

सि॒ध्रा अ॑ग्ने॒ धियो॑ अ॒स्मे सनु॑त्री॒र्यं त्राय॑से॒ दम॒ आ नित्य॑होता । ऋ॒तावा॒ स रो॒हिद॑श्वः पुरु॒क्षुर्द्युभि॑रस्मा॒ अह॑भिर्वा॒मम॑स्तु
sidhrā agne dhiyo asme sanutrīryaṃ trāyase dama ā nityahotā ṛtāvā sa rohidaśvaḥ purukṣurdyubhirasmā ahabhirvāmamastu
Auspicious Agni, give wisdom to our minds, be a protector for us; you uphold order with breath, daily invoked. May the bright-robed, swift steeds of ritual be for us, may they be ours.

द्युभि॑र्हि॒तं मि॒त्रमि॑व प्र॒योगं॑ प्र॒त्नमृ॒त्विज॑मध्व॒रस्य॑ जा॒रम् । बा॒हुभ्या॑म॒ग्निमा॒यवो॑ऽजनन्त वि॒क्षु होता॑रं॒ न्य॑सादयन्त
dyubhirhitaṃ mitramiva prayogaṃ pratnamṛtvijamadhvarasya jāram bāhubhyāmagnimāyavo'jananta vikṣu hotāraṃ nyasādayanta
Through both powers you made Agni like Mitra, the performer striving with holy priests beyond age. With both arms the born ones fashioned Agni, placing him as the seer, the sacrificer.

स्व॒यं य॑जस्व दि॒वि दे॑व दे॒वान्किं ते॒ पाकः॑ कृणव॒दप्र॑चेताः । यथाय॑ज ऋ॒तुभि॑र्देव दे॒वाने॒वा य॑जस्व त॒न्वं॑ सुजात
svayaṃ yajasva divi deva devānkiṃ te pākaḥ kṛṇavadapracetāḥ yathāyaja ṛtubhirdeva devānevā yajasva tanvaṃ sujāta
You yourselves perform the sacrifice in heaven, O god among gods; what else could the wise have done? As you sacrifice to the gods by rites, so perform the rite, O noble one, for your own body.

भवा॑ नो अग्नेऽवि॒तोत गो॒पा भवा॑ वय॒स्कृदु॒त नो॑ वयो॒धाः । रास्वा॑ च नः सुमहो ह॒व्यदा॑तिं॒ त्रास्वो॒त न॑स्त॒न्वो॒३॒॑ अप्र॑युच्छन्
bhavā no agne'vitota gopā bhavā vayaskṛduta no vayodhāḥ rāsvā ca naḥ sumaho havyadātiṃ trāsvota nastanvo3 aprayucchan
Be our protector, Agni, guardian of cattle; be our strong one, commander of our warriors. Bestow abundant oblations upon us; do not withdraw your counsel and strength from us.
