पिबा॒ सोमं॑ मह॒त इ॑न्द्रि॒याय॒ पिबा॑ वृ॒त्राय॒ हन्त॑वे शविष्ठ । पिब॑ रा॒ये शव॑से हू॒यमा॑नः॒ पिब॒ मध्व॑स्तृ॒पदि॒न्द्रा वृ॑षस्व
pibā somaṃ mahata indriyāya pibā vṛtrāya hantave śaviṣṭha piba rāye śavase hūyamānaḥ piba madhvastṛpadindrā vṛṣasva
Drink Soma, great Indra! Drink for the senses, drink to slay Vṛtra, to secure the sacrifice. Drink for wealth, for the one who pours oblations; drink, sweet one, seat Indra—be potent.

अ॒स्य पि॑ब क्षु॒मतः॒ प्रस्थि॑त॒स्येन्द्र॒ सोम॑स्य॒ वर॒मा सु॒तस्य॑ । स्व॒स्ति॒दा मन॑सा मादयस्वार्वाची॒नो रे॒वते॒ सौभ॑गाय
asya piba kṣumataḥ prasthitasyendra somasya varamā sutasya svastidā manasā mādayasvārvācīno revate saubhagāya
Drink of him who can be drunk; let Indra’s Soma, bestower of boons, be set forth. With a good mind rouse the high-voiced singers, for prosperity and well-being.

म॒मत्तु॑ त्वा दि॒व्यः सोम॑ इन्द्र म॒मत्तु॒ यः सू॒यते॒ पार्थि॑वेषु । म॒मत्तु॒ येन॒ वरि॑वश्च॒कर्थ॑ म॒मत्तु॒ येन॑ निरि॒णासि॒ शत्रू॑न्
mamattu tvā divyaḥ soma indra mamattu yaḥ sūyate pārthiveṣu mamattu yena varivaścakartha mamattu yena niriṇāsi śatrūn
May the divine Soma be mine, Indra; may that sunlight of earth be mine. May that which brings strength and which disarms my enemies be mine.

आ द्वि॒बर्हा॑ अमि॒नो या॒त्विन्द्रो॒ वृषा॒ हरि॑भ्यां॒ परि॑षिक्त॒मन्धः॑ । गव्या सु॒तस्य॒ प्रभृ॑तस्य॒ मध्वः॑ स॒त्रा खेदा॑मरुश॒हा वृ॑षस्व
ā dvibarhā amino yātvindro vṛṣā haribhyāṃ pariṣiktamandhaḥ gavyā sutasya prabhṛtasya madhvaḥ satrā khedāmaruśahā vṛṣasva
Bring two-armed cattle here, Indra, and the strong bulls purified for the offering. For the milker of the well-fed kine, honeyed and stout, make the bulls swift.

नि ति॒ग्मानि॑ भ्रा॒शय॒न्भ्राश्या॒न्यव॑ स्थि॒रा त॑नुहि यातु॒जूना॑म् । उ॒ग्राय॑ ते॒ सहो॒ बलं॑ ददामि प्र॒तीत्या॒ शत्रू॑न्विग॒देषु॑ वृश्च
ni tigmāni bhrāśayanbhrāśyānyava sthirā tanuhi yātujūnām ugrāya te saho balaṃ dadāmi pratītyā śatrūnvigadeṣu vṛśca
Strike down the thorns, dispel the fences; let firm strength go to the steeds of the people. I grant fierce might to you; let it be with you against foes in battle.

व्य१॒॑र्य इ॑न्द्र तनुहि॒ श्रवां॒स्योजः॑ स्थि॒रेव॒ धन्व॑नो॒ऽभिमा॑तीः । अ॒स्म॒द्र्य॑ग्वावृधा॒नः सहो॑भि॒रनि॑भृष्टस्त॒न्वं॑ वावृधस्व
vya1rya indra tanuhi śravāṃsyojaḥ sthireva dhanvano'bhimātīḥ asmadryagvāvṛdhānaḥ sahobhiranibhṛṣṭastanvaṃ vāvṛdhasva
O Indra, make strong these warriors, let their fame be steady, O mighty archer proud of strength. May our chiefs increase in vigor; with allies and friends, make thy strength increase.

इ॒दं ह॒विर्म॑घव॒न्तुभ्यं॑ रा॒तं प्रति॑ सम्रा॒ळहृ॑णानो गृभाय । तुभ्यं॑ सु॒तो म॑घव॒न्तुभ्यं॑ प॒क्वो॒३॒॑ऽद्धी॑न्द्र॒ पिब॑ च॒ प्रस्थि॑तस्य
idaṃ havirmaghavantubhyaṃ rātaṃ prati samrāḷahṛṇāno gṛbhāya tubhyaṃ suto maghavantubhyaṃ pakvo3'ddhīndra piba ca prasthitasya
This libation for the generous ones, bring it to them by night; collect it for the noble ones. For you, O generous ones, the cooked portion—Indra, drink the established Soma.

अ॒द्धीदि॑न्द्र॒ प्रस्थि॑ते॒मा ह॒वींषि॒ चनो॑ दधिष्व पच॒तोत सोम॑म् । प्रय॑स्वन्तः॒ प्रति॑ हर्यामसि त्वा स॒त्याः स॑न्तु॒ यज॑मानस्य॒ कामाः॑
addhīdindra prasthitemā havīṃṣi cano dadhiṣva pacatota somam prayasvantaḥ prati haryāmasi tvā satyāḥ santu yajamānasya kāmāḥ
When Indra the mighty is set forth, prepare these offerings and place the cooked Soma. Strive so that the wishful ones of the sacrificer may be true and may you, O first, take them.

प्रेन्द्रा॒ग्निभ्यां॑ सुवच॒स्यामि॑यर्मि॒ सिन्धा॑विव॒ प्रेर॑यं॒ नाव॑म॒र्कैः । अया॑ इव॒ परि॑ चरन्ति दे॒वा ये अ॒स्मभ्यं॑ धन॒दा उ॒द्भिद॑श्च
prendrāgnibhyāṃ suvacasyāmiyarmi sindhāviva prerayaṃ nāvamarkaiḥ ayā iva pari caranti devā ye asmabhyaṃ dhanadā udbhidaśca
I bring rich offerings to Agni and to Indra; like rivers they urge us with brilliant rays. They go around us like those who bestow wealth and burst forth with bounty.
