mamattu tvā divyaḥ soma indra mamattu yaḥ sūyate pārthiveṣu mamattu yena varivaścakartha mamattu yena niriṇāsi śatrūn
May the divine Soma be mine, Indra; may that sunlight of earth be mine. May that which brings strength and which disarms my enemies be mine.
May the celestial Soma exhilarate you, Indra; may that which is effused at terrestrial rites exhilarateyou; may that exhilarate you through the influence of which you have bestowed wealth; may that exhilarate youwhereby you scatter foes.
Let heavenly Soma gladden thee, O Indra, let that effused among mankind delight thee. Rejoice in that whereby thou gavest freedom, and that whereby thou conquerest thy foemen.
