असा॑वि॒ सोमः॑ पुरुहूत॒ तुभ्यं॒ हरि॑भ्यां य॒ज्ञमुप॑ याहि॒ तूय॑म् । तुभ्यं॒ गिरो॒ विप्र॑वीरा इया॒ना द॑धन्वि॒र इ॑न्द्र॒ पिबा॑ सु॒तस्य॑
asāvi somaḥ puruhūta tubhyaṃ haribhyāṃ yajñamupa yāhi tūyam tubhyaṃ giro vipravīrā iyānā dadhanvira indra pibā sutasya
O priest, Soma pressed and brought near: to you, O Hari, offer the sacrifice. To you, O mighty-speaker, O hero among priests, Indra—drink the juice of the son.

अ॒प्सु धू॒तस्य॑ हरिवः॒ पिबे॒ह नृभिः॑ सु॒तस्य॑ ज॒ठरं॑ पृणस्व । मि॒मि॒क्षुर्यमद्र॑य इन्द्र॒ तुभ्यं॒ तेभि॑र्वर्धस्व॒ मद॑मुक्थवाहः
apsu dhūtasya harivaḥ pibeha nṛbhiḥ sutasya jaṭharaṃ pṛṇasva mimikṣuryamadraya indra tubhyaṃ tebhirvardhasva madamukthavāhaḥ
May men drink the bright waters washed by Hari; fill the belly of the well-born. O Indra, who looks upon us like the mountain’s lord, prosper you for them, O liberator carrying delight.

प्रोग्रां पी॒तिं वृष्ण॑ इयर्मि स॒त्यां प्र॒यै सु॒तस्य॑ हर्यश्व॒ तुभ्य॑म् । इन्द्र॒ धेना॑भिरि॒ह मा॑दयस्व धी॒भिर्विश्वा॑भिः॒ शच्या॑ गृणा॒नः
progrāṃ pītiṃ vṛṣṇa iyarmi satyāṃ prayai sutasya haryaśva tubhyam indra dhenābhiriha mādayasva dhībhirviśvābhiḥ śacyā gṛṇānaḥ
Grant the draught, O Vrishṇa, true and potent, to the well-born Hari’s steed for you. O Indra, with cattle and gifts excite them with your spirit, with all forces, and strengthen the singers.

ऊ॒ती श॑चीव॒स्तव॑ वी॒र्ये॑ण॒ वयो॒ दधा॑ना उ॒शिज॑ ऋत॒ज्ञाः । प्र॒जाव॑दिन्द्र॒ मनु॑षो दुरो॒णे त॒स्थुर्गृ॒णन्तः॑ सध॒माद्या॑सः
ūtī śacīvastava vīryeṇa vayo dadhānā uśija ṛtajñāḥ prajāvadindra manuṣo duroṇe tasthurgṛṇantaḥ sadhamādyāsaḥ
Like Shachi you have given strength; may youth be placed for you, O knowers of order. O Indra, speak forth like a progenitor among men, standing on the hard place, praising from the seat of holiness.

प्रणी॑तिभिष्टे हर्यश्व सु॒ष्टोः सु॑षु॒म्नस्य॑ पुरु॒रुचो॒ जना॑सः । मंहि॑ष्ठामू॒तिं वि॒तिरे॒ दधा॑नाः स्तो॒तार॑ इन्द्र॒ तव॑ सू॒नृता॑भिः
praṇītibhiṣṭe haryaśva suṣṭoḥ suṣumnasya pururuco janāsaḥ maṃhiṣṭhāmūtiṃ vitire dadhānāḥ stotāra indra tava sūnṛtābhiḥ
When the beloved of horses, the delightful one of the excellent Suśumna, the widespread light among men, having cherished their desire, advanced and bestowed invigorating strength — may Indra accept their hymns of praise with favor.

उप॒ ब्रह्मा॑णि हरिवो॒ हरि॑भ्यां॒ सोम॑स्य याहि पी॒तये॑ सु॒तस्य॑ । इन्द्र॑ त्वा य॒ज्ञः क्षम॑माणमानड्दा॒श्वाँ अ॑स्यध्व॒रस्य॑ प्रके॒तः
upa brahmāṇi harivo haribhyāṃ somasya yāhi pītaye sutasya indra tvā yajñaḥ kṣamamāṇamānaḍdāśvām̐ asyadhvarasya praketaḥ
Approach, O gods, to the Brahman, to Hari, to the friends of Hari, to Soma, for the drink of the son. Indra, thou art the sacrifice, patient, unwearied, the strong crusher of horses, the revealer of this protector.

स॒हस्र॑वाजमभिमाति॒षाहं॑ सु॒तेर॑णं म॒घवा॑नं सुवृ॒क्तिम् । उप॑ भूषन्ति॒ गिरो॒ अप्र॑तीत॒मिन्द्रं॑ नम॒स्या ज॑रि॒तुः प॑नन्त
sahasravājamabhimātiṣāhaṃ suteraṇaṃ maghavānaṃ suvṛktim upa bhūṣanti giro apratītamindraṃ namasyā jarituḥ pananta
I rejoiced in thousands of voices for that Sute·raṇa, the mighty, famed in good deeds; the unlooked-for songs adorn Indra — venerable, they spread delight.

स॒प्तापो॑ दे॒वीः सु॒रणा॒ अमृ॑क्ता॒ याभिः॒ सिन्धु॒मत॑र इन्द्र पू॒र्भित् । न॒व॒तिं स्रो॒त्या नव॑ च॒ स्रव॑न्तीर्दे॒वेभ्यो॑ गा॒तुं मनु॑षे च विन्दः
saptāpo devīḥ suraṇā amṛktā yābhiḥ sindhumatara indra pūrbhit navatiṃ srotyā nava ca sravantīrdevebhyo gātuṃ manuṣe ca vindaḥ
Seven rivers, goddesses, flowing like nectar, with waters like the sea, led by Indra before; they carry the new stream, ninefold, and bring fresh flows to the gods and to mortals.

अ॒पो म॒हीर॒भिश॑स्तेरमु॒ञ्चोऽजा॑गरा॒स्वधि॑ दे॒व एकः॑ । इन्द्र॒ यास्त्वं वृ॑त्र॒तूर्ये॑ च॒कर्थ॒ ताभि॑र्वि॒श्वायु॑स्त॒न्वं॑ पुपुष्याः
apo mahīrabhiśasteramuñco'jāgarāsvadhi deva ekaḥ indra yāstvaṃ vṛtratūrye cakartha tābhirviśvāyustanvaṃ pupuṣyāḥ
Waters, praised by the great ones, released the one awakened; let the one god be pleased. Indra, who slew Vṛtra and made the people prosper, may all life grow for you and may you be strong and flourishing.

वी॒रेण्यः॒ क्रतु॒रिन्द्रः॑ सुश॒स्तिरु॒तापि॒ धेना॑ पुरुहू॒तमी॑ट्टे । आर्द॑यद्वृ॒त्रमकृ॑णोदु लो॒कं स॑सा॒हे श॒क्रः पृत॑ना अभि॒ष्टिः
vīreṇyaḥ kraturindraḥ suśastirutāpi dhenā puruhūtamīṭṭe ārdayadvṛtramakṛṇodu lokaṃ sasāhe śakraḥ pṛtanā abhiṣṭiḥ
Brave in his deeds, mighty Indra, well-invoked in heat, offered the sacrificing animal. He humiliated Vritra, made the people rise, and, mighty with strength, achieved the desired goal with effort.

शु॒नं हु॑वेम म॒घवा॑न॒मिन्द्र॑म॒स्मिन्भरे॒ नृत॑मं॒ वाज॑सातौ । शृ॒ण्वन्त॑मु॒ग्रमू॒तये॑ स॒मत्सु॒ घ्नन्तं॑ वृ॒त्राणि॑ सं॒जितं॒ धना॑नाम्
śunaṃ huvema maghavānamindramasminbhare nṛtamaṃ vājasātau śaṛṇvantamugramūtaye samatsu ghnantaṃ vṛtrāṇi saṃjitaṃ dhanānām
We invoke the hound, the generous one, and Indra in this assembly; let him fill with song and with strength. Hear now the mighty, the vanquisher of foes, who overcomes the Vr̥tra and wins wealth.
