The farmers anoint Hari, not to be yoked; Soma is poured with milky vessels among the herds. He spoke: the mind rejoices, he harms little the praising man, how dear he is.

The lord, exultant, unseen on the heights, favoured in the chant, gives the cows like a loving husband; like a bright moon he bestows. The householder‑man, devoted to sacred rites, pure in thought and action—may Soma and Indra protect him.

They milk the beam, pressing the teats; poets, wise in waters, contemplate the seer. The herds come close—minds go to the ordered truth; the womb becomes the dwelling again on earth.
