हरिं॑ मृजन्त्यरु॒षो न यु॑ज्यते॒ सं धे॒नुभिः॑ क॒लशे॒ सोमो॑ अज्यते । उद्वाच॑मी॒रय॑ति हि॒न्वते॑ म॒ती पु॑रुष्टु॒तस्य॒ कति॑ चित्परि॒प्रियः॑
hariṃ mṛjantyaruṣo na yujyate saṃ dhenubhiḥ kalaśe somo ajyate udvācamīrayati hinvate matī puruṣṭutasya kati citparipriyaḥ
The farmers anoint Hari, not to be yoked; Soma is poured with milky vessels among the herds. He spoke: the mind rejoices, he harms little the praising man, how dear he is.
They cleanse the green-tinted (Soma); he is harnessed like a swift horse; the Soma is combined in the pitcher with the products of the kine. He utters a sound, (the worshippers) send forth praise; how many (boons) abundantly delightint the utterer of many praises (does Soma bestow).
THEY cleanse the Gold-hued: like a red Steed is he yoked, and Soma in the jar is mingled with the milk. He sendeth out his voice, and many loving friends of him the highly lauded hasten with their songs.
